800Wh battery available in Canada now...

As one would expect definite range increase. It doesn't even weigh that much more. Rode it all the way to work and back and didn't even drop one bar. Normally I drop one bar about 1/4 the way back. Next year I'm hoping to climb MT Washington on it.

Buying first electric bike for woman, hilly area... help please

As far as power it sounds like you should stick to a full powered ebike for your wants and needs. weather it's a 70nm or 85nm or so on isn't going to be a huge factor . I can't stress enough how important it is that you test ride and take on the hills that you're going to be riding to get the...

800Wh battery available in Canada now...

I think I'd hold out for the 800 but the 625 does make a useable difference. Having 2 batteries to swap in and out makes good cents but, is a bit 💲💲

800Wh battery available in Canada now...

It's in the limited and probably will be in future models as it becomes more readily available. It's higher spec just like other components such as cassettes you don't see the higher spec cassettes available on all the models, do you? Hopefully it will be an option in the near future!

800Wh battery available in Canada now...

They did that in the past with the 500 upgrade to a 625 they might do that with the 800 when it's fully available. Just ask the dealer to see if that's an option they can check with giant about. The 800 will increase range but, not speed just for people who don't know reading this post

Hi from North Wales, UK .

looks like a nice road bike from what I've seen online. Are you waiting to ride till you have the mudguards to avoid getting any unnecessary chips or digs? Do they offer any good factory ones that bolt right up? It does look it blends in and doesn't scream Ebike!
