The not needing air thing is true of a lot of tubeless setups if it doesn't get a puncture. Unless the temperature changes quite a bit the pressure should stay up with a lot of the different sealants on the market. If not you didn't quite get your tubeless setup right.

The thing about a throttle is at what point is it no longer an electric bicycle? I'm not saying I'm against throttles I am saying even a low assist throttle needs to be in a different class than one without. At this point that is kinda how it is.

Keep in mind that you still need check the tube and tire for what punctured it incase it's still in there. If you have good Quick release or thru axle. Then it makes things a bit more efficient. Sometimes throwing in the spare tube in and patching the other one after work makes more sense...

Part of what my thoughts on the whole patch thing is there is a point when throwing another patch isn't worth it not that you shouldn't patch in some cases.

yeah about that filtration is a good idea. I short of due but would recommend checking with someone else about filtration.
