2022 Turbo Vado and Turbo Tero comparison: Same bike?

Yet you’ve just stated that “It has been confirmed by a Specialized salesman Tero and Gen 2 Vado share the same frame.” in another post. Sounds like @Camasonian was correct?!

Copenhagen Wheel - any contemporary products these days?

Thanks! Great info! I have someone who insists they only want to change the front wheel, but traditional hub motor with external battery isn’t legal around here these days and too obvious. Maybe this could be the thing.

Copenhagen Wheel - any contemporary products these days?

I remember a bunch of activity around the Copenhagen wheel - and then it , along with its competitors, disappeared. Is there any wheel like that today?

Turbo como 2.0 firmware 7.1.1 slowed bike considerably

Becomes excess heat (a significant amount) on a dragging brake, at least on aircraft. I’m pretty sure the same physics apply on a bicycle.

Why Container Ships Can’t Sail Around the California Ports Bottleneck

Stop the handouts and they’ll go to work. The only message they get from the current administration is how they’re going to get $3.5T more in entitlements. So they’re waiting.

Why Container Ships Can’t Sail Around the California Ports Bottleneck

That’s why doing what you love is the most important thing when you decide on a career. Mostly I’ve been fortunate to manage that.

Why Container Ships Can’t Sail Around the California Ports Bottleneck

But that article says: “Early leaving has become a huge problem within the trucking industry, with 35% of drivers quitting their jobs within the first 90 days of employment.” Which means they just aren’t adapted to trucking perhaps. You don’t spend $10,000 getting a CDL and then wimping out...

Ah - yes he’s asked Walmart, FedEx, and UPS to speed up their operations by working more overnight. As if they have the labor to man another shift without double time pay? Raising costs is great for inflation when you’re also demanding higher wages - inflation here we come - time to dust off...

My chain is jumping off the chain ring on my Creo

In ratio parlance, as I vaguely recall, the small cog on the rear wheel connected to the largest cog on the front crank provides the highest gear ratio thus it is marked the “high” gear - especially on cheap shifters. I think the small cog position also correlates to the H adjustment screw on...

My chain is jumping off the chain ring on my Creo

Maybe while struggling with mounting the wheel after that last flat something is out of alignment now. Perhaps checking the rear derailleur alignment is a good idea ? Move to the highest gear and make sure the cogs on the derailleur and cassette line up? Could you have bent the derailleur hanger...

It’s fixed - Uncle Joe says he’s making the Port of Los Angeles work 24/7. Now the entitled ones can get their gender transitioned ethnic baby dolls at Walmart. Hahahaha!!

Scooters and motorcycles keep pace with traffic, so no you wouldn’t need a Varia in as much you don’t need it on a car. On a bike - unless you can pedal at 45km/h (uphill) you’re going to need situational awareness on your backside. That’s what Varia provides.

Yes I looked through Google Maps Street View through your city - reminds me quite much of suburbia in America. Huge wide streets and avenues. I’m actually envious . You should come to Tokyo and take a ride in traffic hehe - you don’t have time to look in the mirror to detect oncoming traffic...

You don’t see a need for Varia as you don’t ride on congested roads, otherwise you would realize how valuable that device is.

2022 Turbo Vado and Turbo Tero comparison: Same bike?

Appears there are slight differences in the frame geometry but that gets washed out after people install suspension posts & stems, new handlebars, different tires etc etc. not to mention adjusting the seat and handlebars. The Vado also has a guard to keep long skirts from getting entangled in...
