The largest tire I would consider using would be 3.0"

    Anyone have a FREY EX?

Thank you for the detailed write-up Gonzaloan. Very helpful. Your English is fine

Does air quality index make a difference if you bike or not?

You should avoid outdoor exercise when the AQI is high if you don't want reduced lung function, bronchitis, heart failure, and early death. Wildfire smoke also makes you more vulnerable to COVID. You could use a particulate respirator (make sure its NIOSH certified; most KN95s don't work) when...

Luna Cycle X1 Enduro FS (Bafang M600 / Dengfu M09)

X1 looks nice. Too bad the battery capacity is so small. Luna's range of 30-40 miles seems unrealistic.

Known Issues & Problems with Rize Bikes Products + Help, Solutions, & Fixes

Frey has a slightly lower shipping cost for slow shipping on a boat. I think it's around $550.

Known Issues & Problems with Rize Bikes Products + Help, Solutions, & Fixes

This is useful information. I was considering the Rise RX at one point, but I think I will save up for Wattwagons.

Waiting for Wattwagon motor - USPS delays

Agreed. The thread title is not fair and is misleading since the part had already been shipped and the vendor had already communicated this information to the buyer prior to the buyer posting a thread title with the term "ripped off by Wattwagon." I think it would have been fine to complain...

Yes, I put on that exact seat post about a month ago. I will wait patiently for the super duper.

    Travalanche specs

Sure I can wait. My BBSO2 motor is still doing fine at about 3000 miles. The hard tail is rough on the rocky trails, but it's tolerable most of the time.

    Travalanche specs

My regular weekend rides are about 40 miles with 4000 ft elevation gain. I have a 750 watt standard BBSO2 648 watt-hour battery that I attached to an old 26" hardtail mountain bike. I have to ride the first 10/11 flat miles on asphalt with no power at all and then use lower power levels on the...

    Carbon ?

Carbon fiber has very low ductility compared to steel and titanium, so if it fails it will fail without warning. I had a steel folding bike that failed at the joint while riding; I definitely appreciated it flexings considerably before failure as I was able to slow down before complete failure...

Full suspension with Belt drive - why ?

For me, a rack is very important. A fender is not.

    Anyone have a FREY EX?

Yes, you are correct. Frey replied again saying exactly that - the higher voltage battery discharges first. Once they two batteries are equal, they discharge simultaneously. Just my lack of comprehension of their first response.

    Anyone have a FREY EX?

Simultaneous discharging would also be fine, but I don't know if it has that as Frey did not provide clear information on how the electrical system functions.

    Anyone have a FREY EX?

In the dual battery system of the Frey EX Advanced, do the two batteries discharge alternately like the Riese and Muller? In the Riese & Muller, the system automatically tracks the charge states and switches between the batteries when it detects a charge difference of five percent. I emailed...
