My right/rear brake was always pretty weak, and now does basically nothing. Is this something I can tweak, or is this a bike shop, or also a "get a whole new brake kit" situation?

If you're worried about the top bar you can always get the Flow.

One disconnect here could be some people have "old" Flows and some people have the 21 model. Maybe you could adjust the old one but not the new one. @Taylor57 might have been correct that it only takes 1 minute via the settings in November of 2020, but it just no longer applies to the Flows...

This might be a dumb question, but how can you tell if a spoke is loose? Like is it loose in a normal lay person "oh that's obviously not in all the way" or do we periodically have to check for any we can reef on to get a quarter turn out of?

I have also tried the automatic PAS thing and didn't like it. I've been too lazy to play around in the menu to change it back, but literally any manual PAS change ever and it stops for that ride so I just bump it down 2 feet out of the driveway and it's fine.

I just mentioned it in reference to anyone else who reads this thread later thinking they'll need to lay out for a gear indicator if they get an Espin. The "point" of an ebike is smoothing out a lot of the usual reasons people switch gears, so at least I've found myself almost never doing it...

It's not so much for exercise as just any other gear just feels like free spinning on any given PAS level. I suppose it helps that Florida is pretty flat though.

FWIW I do like 99% of my riding on the hardest gear. Unless something specific happens I basically forget it even has gears.

Follow up question, I saw to check my current seat post for sizing information. I expected a straight forward something but it says 308 350 20 11 It's a 2021 espin flow. Assuming the website is up to date and I got all parts as listed it's a 30.4MM Do I need that and only that, or would a 30.9...

Yeah, I saw that, and might pass because of that. It was meant more as a stand in for all the $30 ones that look just like it on amazon.

I did some searching on here, but anything people recommend that I gather from the context is a good affordable one is a 404 link. Are seat posts like these in the $30 range total crap? You can spend like $300 on these things, so I don't expect them to be amazing, but are they better than no...

Update: The charging is low enough where that with a screen on GPS map/tracker on my S21+ it does not charge enough to maintain battery level, but just about. I think I lost like 5-10% in 4 hours of riding, but without it I would have lost way way more. Probably just letting the screen be off...

I rode it once with the setting on. I think it changed the PAS on me, I moved it down and it never did it again, so maybe it's some kind of "automatic unless you ever touch it" thing. I was wondering if it meant the actual bike gears, there are a couple connections to there, and that is a thing...
