2020 Como 4.0 -- "Walk assist" is more like "JOG assist." How to slow it down?

I have used mine several times and I can keep up with it just fine. And I'm defiantly NOT fast :) Maybe it varies from one bike to another.

    Best battery charging practice.

The life of the battery is more determined by simple time span. After 2 to 3 years, you will see some loss of capacity wether you use the pack lots, baby it or just store it. Defiantly good practices could lengthen the life but the reward to PIA ratio is not worth. (for me) An example is what...

    Best battery charging practice.

charging the night before or the morning will not make any difference to range. Just added wear on the batteries for the extra charge. Leaving the battery at a full charge is the most damaging. BUT ... These batteries are so robust you could try to abuse them and probably never notice any...

Turbo Como 4.0 vs Turbo Vado 4.0 Step-Through

Yes, 42mm Pathfinder Pro Not cheap but what a huge difference it made. I would say the Como tires were soft and great if you need a bit more suspension The stock Vado tires were a bit more precise feeling than the Como The Pathfinders are a LOT more precise and feel more like a road tire...

Turbo Como 4.0 vs Turbo Vado 4.0 Step-Through

I would agree with most of the above. The suspension settings of the Vado don't seem to make much difference but it does work well. Mine is the 2018 version so not sure if they may have changed a little on the new versions. Although the Vado and Como are very similar, the Vado has the feel of a...

Turbo Como 4.0 vs Turbo Vado 4.0 Step-Through

I have a Vado and borrowed a Como last weekend for my wife. We both agreed that the Vado was a MUCH better bike. Suspension fork made a LOT of difference. The geometry of the Vado is a little more like a road/normal bike. The Como was VERY upright and the feel of a city bike. For someone who is...

Specialized Turbo Creo 28mph Electric Road Bike

Probably similar difference between the standard and evo versions as the Expert/Comp. I expect the shifters and other parts on the comp won't be much heavier than the Expert so the only real difference would be the wheels Between standard and comp the difference would mainly be the dropper post...

Specialized Turbo Creo 28mph Electric Road Bike

I think you missed the point of the post. The details of the Creo comp are not on the US site or most others. The details have not been officially released by specialized regarding the Comp and the Aluminum E5 models.

Specialized Turbo Creo 28mph Electric Road Bike

To me, the battery size is just right. My Turbo Vado has 420 Wh and on eco (30% assist) I get well over 90klm with no problem. My average speed is about 22kl/h. If you want to go at TDF speeds and are not a TDF rider, this is probably not the bike for you. It's designed to give a LITTLE assist...

Mission Control App - Turbo Vado Solution Now Available

That's another reason the 2 planets would be good. Close enough to Mph when set to Klm I still remember the 'old' system :-)

Mission Control App - Turbo Vado Solution Now Available

Is the 2 planet device also being sold as standard? In Canada, we are limited to 32kl/h so the 1.5 reduction would be a better solution

    Como Controller Hack

There was a well known way for the Levo as well but specialized closed the back door with a software update. Now nothing is hackable without adding hardware. At least you get 28mph. In Canada, we only get 20mph max on any ebike. I rarely find the 20mph limit a problem so unless you are pushed...

    Como Controller Hack

I don't think it's possible with the new software and display. At least not using any bluetooth hacks. I have researched options for the Vado. It's fairly well locked down now. There are other 'devices' out there that will halve the pulses going back to the control system. No personal experience...

    Charging the como

If you are riding within a week or 2 then just charge back to 100% If you know you won't be riding for a while (like end of season), let the charge go down to about 50%. This is known as a storage charge. These batteries are tough. No need to do much other than the 50% when in storage.

    Como 3.0 - Slipping & sliding - different tires?

As above, the trigger sport comes with the Vado. Great tire in the mud and light sand. Also great for the road. https://www.specialized.com/us/en/trigger-sport-reflect/p/156234?color=229149-156234 The Vado comes with a 700x47 so that would likely be the best for the Como but your local shop...

Specialized Turbo Creo 28mph Electric Road Bike

If you compare to the Roubaix line, the Comp will be without carbon wheels. For me the big factor would be if the Comp comes with Di2. After having Di2 on my Roubaix, I can't see going back to the old mechanical version.
