    2019 Vado 3 vs 2020 Vado 3

For me, the mission control made it a TOTALLY different bike. I use 20/30 30/70 and 100/100 for my 3 levels Being able to have a lower assist with a higher peak makes you feel like you are so strong when you press hard on the peddles

    2019 Vado 3 vs 2020 Vado 3

They should be able to put the new display on that bike. My LBS did it for my 2017 Vado 3 at no charge :)

Sure hope I'm as capable at that age. I just 'feel' 70 right now :) Looks like a fun time. Best wishes on your adventure

Specialized Turbo Creo 28mph Electric Road Bike

I'm currently running the 38 gravel tires on my Vado. As a roady at heart, I think they are perfect road tires. The centre smooth patch is good for smooth roads while they are also great on rough stone chip roads. Around here, the stone chip roads are the majority so personally I would just...

It's there when you hit the 'Discover Creo' button but not if you just scroll down. https://www.specialized.com/ca/en/turbo-creo-sl-e5-comp/p/170239?color=261003-170239

Specialized Turbo Creo 28mph Electric Road Bike

I used to enjoy 70k downhill. Can't bring myself to do it any more. As Deacon said, the pavement slide would not be fun :-(

Specialized Turbo Creo 28mph Electric Road Bike

I don't think the Creo is aimed at anyone who needs support riding flat or downhill. The cutout is a pain on my Vado when you have a 65lb weight to push around but with the lightweight Creo I think it's actually a benefit for the support to cut out. Here in Canada, the assist limit is 32km/h...

Specialized Turbo Creo 28mph Electric Road Bike

The 6,500 US$ versions are Carbon comp and those along with the aluminum model, I don't think they have even been released yet. Anything that says sold out probably relates to the fact that it doesn't exist yet.

Specialized Turbo Creo 28mph Electric Road Bike

I would be happy living without the carbon wheels but cheap carbon wheels from specialized tend to be worth about 1,500. I paid 2,000 for my last set on my Roubaix. On the trek forum, a guy just upgraded his bike from std to Di2 and that cost him about $2,000 just for the Di2 upgrade. It's a...

Specialized Turbo Creo 28mph Electric Road Bike

for $2000 less you loose CF wheels AND electronic shifting. That seems like it should be a MUCH lower price. The US version is 9,000 for the Expert and $6,500 for the Comp - $2,500 US$ difference. The Comp is defiantly a bad value for money here in Canada. I would have jumped at the Comp version...

Specialized Turbo Creo 28mph Electric Road Bike

Yes, I'm anxious to find that out as well. I have a Vado 3. I'm hoping the power will be enough. I expect the Creo will not have the low RPM torque but when peddling at 80 RPM, I hope the power is similar. They both are supposed to deliver similar power at a higher RPM. 250 watts for the Vado...

Specialized Turbo Creo 28mph Electric Road Bike

Specs look more like the Creo Comp. Not electronic shifting and no carbon wheel set. So the price is similar for the Specialized Carbon Comp compared to the Domane. As MikeDee stated, it's a preference. I would not say one is better than the other. Just different.
