CLASS 1 EBIKES: A VANISHING BREED?

I have a friend that was a bouncer at an uber popular club, and if he didn't like someone's face, they didn't get it. Those with the power call the shots.

I have to admit - I almost backed out of buying an ebike after joining EBR - glad I didn't

Where E-bikes are Made, and Why it's Important

That's too bad. Because your next ebike from your LBS might be a good idea.

    Protective Bike Gloves

Don't dwell too much on this issue. If you have no idea where to start, begin with whatever you can afford. The most important thing is to wear something. Anything. Expensive gloves can waste you a lot of money since you don't know what's best for you yet. Just because one person loves a $100...

CLASS 1 EBIKES: A VANISHING BREED?

The problem I have along with every cruiser bikers, kids on training wheels, dog walkers, joggers, etc, on designated bike lanes, is that I keep seeing punks who think their "e-thing" without a provincial registration plate is also allowed on the same lanes, and that we are all in THEIR way. I...

CLASS 1 EBIKES: A VANISHING BREED?

I don't get the title of this thread, "A VANISHING BREED"? "CLASS 1 EBIKES" pretty much the industry NORM and here to STAY. (If the OP used CAPS, then surely I can too.)

    NCM Moscow Upgrade

Swapping controller/hub off any NCM bike is not worth it, as majority of the price of the ebike is in those two parts. When a NCM is stripped down to just a bike without any e-stuff, it's not worth very much.

Looking for a solution for lost key

Not to be biased with any assumptions, please understand that although you may claim to be the genuine owner of said bike, there may be thieves here lurking the forums and maybe perhaps this thread and they would also like to know a solution.

I have to admit - I almost backed out of buying an ebike after joining EBR - glad I didn't

This thread is really moot if one deals with a LBS with full service and support. I have zero sympathy for anyone here where "internet mail order" didn't work out for them. Yeah, that's the regret in not dealing with a LBS.

Is my locking plan good enough?

I don't leave my ebike unattended, but do let us know how it works out when you do it without a theft. https://electricbikereview.com/forums/threads/some-dude-stole-my-bike-lectric-xp.43122/#post-428192

You Cannot Buy A Brooks Bicycle Seat

That was the point I was trying to make. We got "teached" about all that in 2020. So why are folks surprised now one year later, not having done anything the year before? For the newbie that just got their first ebike (which may be first and only bike), discovering all the great accessories...

You Cannot Buy A Brooks Bicycle Seat

Last year, I sourced/hoarded all the parts I wanted after the summer, and surprizingly got everything before the end of 2020. Surely everyone else did this, because they knew the "pandemic lifestyle" wasn't a new thing for 2021?

ET Cycle T720 Just arrived, this is a BIG bike.

Then you're going to love it, because the weight keeps constant velocity a lot longer. On PAS level 5, notice how easy it is to hit over +25 kph with pedalling? The motor hardly engages. Enjoy that 94 mile range :)

Which Bikes Would You Like Reviewed? Opinions Needed!

Dear RickyBikes New Member, I hope you the best on fishing more new subscribers to your Youtube channel. My sympathy goes to those that are forever deciding "on the fence", buried in Youtube reviews. Perhaps they may get their ebike in 2023. I'll stick to my method that has been working great...

ET Cycle T720 Just arrived, this is a BIG bike.

It does because the battery is massive. From my experience, all ebikes go "beyond" their advertised ranges if lazy folks simply just PEDALLED instead of going throttle happy e-moped mode.

Don't OCD and repaint the entire thing. Unless you're an industry pro, you won't make it look better than factory. I use an automotive touch-up paint marker. And you'll be using that a lot along with mileage put on.

ET Cycle T720 Just arrived, this is a BIG bike.

They're just too busy to consolidate data entry, which I can tell you is all done by hand. They were actually overshooting the estimate date by telling everyone mid July. All their "end of June" deliveries were amazingly ahead of schedule. Yup, I've been noticing this on a few NCMs...

Congrats, on making the decision to get one. There are undecided folks here who are still "researching" and perhaps they will get theirs in 2023. Fat bikes aren't for everyone, but if you love it, you'll love it.
