    Roadster V2 Gravel Edition

The single gear is also a concern. I'm used to having multi-gears because I do ride without PAS and it seems I would need PAS to be on more often because of the single gear. Wish I had some place local to try these single speed ebikes out.

    Roadster V2 Gravel Edition

@OrTrek Thanks. I should have clarified that I'm looking at the Gravel edition because of the disc brakes. I have 3 bikes with disc brakes and one of them is mechanical... which now I notice the difference and don't really want to go back. I think the main battery in the Fixie is bigger than...

    Roadster V2 Gravel Edition

@Taylor57 Since you and I have similar tastes in bikes, how are the Roadsters? Trying to decide between that and the Rize Fixie (which is cheaper right now and has hydraulic brakes).

Yep. I see them popping up in strip malls that have the available parking lot space. Also theaters and malls have EV chargers... eventually... there will be charging everywhere.

    Roadster V2 Extended Battery

Weird... I use it on the seat tube on the sport which is large diameter and it works fine. It helps that the bottom rests on the diagonal of the down tube. I even rotate it so I can remove the battery and it's been pretty grippy.

I use something like this on my Espin Sport that doesn't have mounting spots:

New bike - Turris, a semi off-road touring aka trekking bike - replacement for 500 series?

This might be my Espin Sport replacement. Sort of giving up on the light bike because not many out there with multi-gears. Nothing wrong with my Sport... but it's been a few years and I want to ride something new.

    Lectric XPedition Cargo Bike!

Except their EV Truck (which is just an electrified Ram, doesn't look like a whole new platform), won't be out until late 2024 (commercial even says 'Coming Late 2024'... which is ironic). So the counter to them is that Ram prospective owners are going to suffer from ED... Electrification...

    Roadster V2 Gravel Edition

    1. So the Gravel Roadster has a throttle now? Don't see it on the website. 2. Can you order it with the 2nd battery already installed? Don't see that option on the website either.

    SWFT BMX ebike

Not sure I've seen any other ebikes in this format other than modified Lectrics: https://electrek.co/2023/02/02/swft-bmx-e-bike-review-finally-a-fun-electric-bmx-bike-on-a-budget/ Looks pretty cool and with a $999 price ($735 at Best Buy), it's affordable for an N+1.

We got a PHEV 6 years ago, replaced it with a Model Y 2 years ago and have had the Leaf for just over a year... all using Level 1/120v charging. These were/are all local commuters so charging overnight on plain old Level 1 is still sufficient for us. We will see when we add a 3rd.

    First accident

Sorry to necro this thread but I just realized I forgot to reply with what helmet to send me until a few weeks ago. Reached back out just to see and they said no problem and sent one to me that I just got today... over 2 years after my crash... that's some good customer service.

    Love Aventon ebikes even more!

Actually, it looks like the Pace still has fixed front fork. The picture above the Gen 2 review is for the step thru Level. I guess the Pace will once again be their lightest ebike... sad to hear about the Soltera... but I guess it was too close to the Pace 350 model.
