    SOLD - 2021 Specialized Turbo Vado SL 5.0 EQ Large (~100 miles) - $3150

Looking to sell a large 2021 (manufactured jul 30 2020) Vado SL 5.0 EQ in brushed aluminum. It is an amazing fitness bike, but I already have other full powered ebikes for commuting and am probably going to go towards a regular bike build instead as I ended up exclusively using it without the...

Is it possible to have: class 3, mid drive, belt drive, torque sensor, with throttle, under $4000?

He already said that isn't the Bosch bike without a throttle, it is an unreleased prototype with a different motor that does have a throttle. He also sells another model (the samurai) that does have the Bosch because he knew it was reliable, so he wasn't releasing that prototype until he can...

Considering buying the Current, how hard is it to get the electronics repaired

Yeah, I would say Priority has been by far the most responsive and helpful of the direct to consumer brands I have interacted with. But that still at the end of the day means they are direct to consumer - they all push some level of service onto you that a local shop would happily do for you on...

Considering buying the Current, how hard is it to get the electronics repaired

Just to let you know, you are not out of warranty yet if you only got it 1.5 years ago. The Current has a full 2 year warranty and a 5 year frame warranty, so be sure to still try and reach out to them if something else happens.

An E-bike With A Quiet Motor

The Brose motor is gonna be the quietest of the mid drives out there for a full power system, much quieter than the bosch performance cx. Bosch does have some quieter motors too, their active line is not too loud at all if you are okay with a lower power system.

Another Prodigy Review - Prodigy XC

The vado 3.0 is fairly comparable, though it is $1,000 more expensive and it also has a much weaker version of the Brose (50nm vs 90nm in the Prodigy). To get that motor in the Vado you have to pay 5 grand for the 5.0, though you obviously get the other nice drivetrain upgrades as well. I'd...

    Who's got a Current?

Just wanted to say thanks for the input, and you've helped me decide. I've got my Enviolo Current on the way!

    Who's got a Current?

How would you compare the motors and pedal assist between the specialized and the current? I had heard that the brose motors are super natural feeling and was wondering how the current stacks up to that. If having the most natural feeling mid drive was the most important, would you (or anyone...

    Radrunner lcd display alternatives?

Thanks for that info, I was just curious if that meant the lcd kingmeter displays were supported too in case I ended up wanting a bigger display

    Radrunner lcd display alternatives?

@kongrui1984 sorry to bump so long after but I was still curious about this and never saw a response. I saw that since my last post eggrider has added support for the controller with this display using lishui protocol with rx/tx swapped so it seems to be lcd compatible. Is that the case?

    Radrunner lcd display alternatives?

Well, it took way longer for it to get here than expected but here is the display. Would love to know if this is upgradable or not, I appreciate it.

Anyone with info on Ariel Rider Rideal model ?

Interesting to hear- it'll be nice to finally see some full reviews of the bike. There's a member on here who works for the company that makes the display and it seemed it may be possible to upgrade the display but he'd need to see the info on the back of the display they used to say whether it...

Ariel Quality and Service - Read before you buy

Every one of those posts was from members who seem to have been on this forum for 1-3 years. In fact, all of their accounts are older than yours! That must be some dedication to fake troll acounts. Why come in here and throw out conspiracies when it's entirely likely they just have this...

Anyone with info on Ariel Rider Rideal model ?

The main difference in mid step and high step is really usually just the placement or existence of a top bar. The mid-step accommodates shorter people and makes it easier to get on and off, while the high step is for taller riders and may offer a bit more rigidity in the frame. At your height...

    X Class 52 versus D Class

Oh yeah definitely, I think at the end of the day it depends on whether it's the right motor for the job regardless of hub versus mid. If your motor is running past nominal wattage climbing a super long hill it'll probably start fading, or if you're getting too much voltage sag from the current...

    X Class 52 versus D Class

The funny thing is, they technically are legal as shipped. The laws are ambiguous in that they simply state that your motor must be under 750w - having two motors each at 750w isn't a violation of it. It also comes speed limited to 20mph and I would venture a lot of the people who get it keep...

Anyone with info on Ariel Rider Rideal model ?

The number of gears is less important than the gear ratio spread for each application. The lectric xp has a 52t crank and a 14-28t freewheel while the rideal has a 48t crank and a 16-48t freewheel, which means the lectric xp would actually have a better ratio for high speed but a much worse...

    Radrunner lcd display alternatives?

Hey, i'm not sure if this is too off-topic but I noticed that the radrunner looks like it has an identical display to the new ariel rider rideal that's coming out. It seems to be the king-meter t320, but the bike hasn't been released yet so there is no way to fully confirm on the back yet. If...
