I don't think that killer whale pack will fit in the stock Radrover triangle. It looks way too tall in the photos, espically when compared to the OEM battery. The stock battery barely fits as is.

@Metalusion If you don't own a Radrover, I would say that there are better bikes out there for this conversion. If you have $1500 to spend as well as the money for the BBSHD, buy a solid bike with front suspension, hydraulic brakes, and a strong frame. If you do own a Radrover, I feel like it is...

@SpiderDice Mount looks different from pics. You could splice in and solder or crimp the plug, but then you could only use that specific battery

@highway320 Glad it all worked out for you and that you're back riding again. Let us know how things go long term. Adjustment screw for brakes should be inboard in the center of the inboard pad via Allen wrench. Fine tune with barrel adjusters.

@SpiderDice Haha. No. The BBSHD I installed pushed me over 40. The controller goes back to lunacycle. It was for a sensored motor, and our Bafang motors are sensorless.

@thatdude902 interesting way you went about it. give us a full report once you get it all connected, both short-term and long-term. i have to figure out a permanent light solution for my rad rover as well. espeically since it does 40 mph now haha!

@flymeaway Install is all finished. Everything works and no issues yet. Went with full color display, orange grips, 42T chainring, and gear sensor. All running on 52V dolphin pack.

@harryS Yeah, after some research I went with a Mongoose Malus fatbike. Less than $250 shipped, but has 7 speed and disc brakes.

@Joe Caronia I don't ever remember it being for fatbikes. I do remember it being the disc brake version. And that version fit fine.

@Joe Caronia The Super Tourist has larger supports for the the side bags so they don't hit your wheel. If you are just running with a top bag, then you should be fine with the explorer.

@Joe Caronia I've installed the Topeak Super Tourist DX rack on mine (Disc version) with the Topeak MTX TrunkBag DXP (trunk bag with built in saddlebags). Works great on a 2016 Radrover since all the mounting points were already a part of the frame. See profile pic.
