Help with squeak or chirp on front disk brake.

Could be. But it's usually caused from contaminants on the braking surfaces. Even if you cant see anything. Some rotors ship with a coating that protects them from rust. I would buy some good brakeparts cleaner and a stiff brush and scrub both the rotor and the pads and reassemble.

    4th flat in 2 months

@Andrew S. Smart! It always helps to be prepared. I don't see how people leave the house with nothing.

    radrover vs radmini ride comfort?

@vincent I'm running 26 x 2.5 Hookworms on mine and the wheel width still makes it a fat tire bike since it is wider than a normal narrow bicycle tire. I did the W & OD trail the other day (25 miles out and 25 miles back in on gravel all the way) and they performed fine.

RadWagon - just arrived and a few questions

@Jaegee I used some wire cutters to snip a little bit off of the plug until it fit just right. I cut it long wise making a D shape and did not cut the end off since that wouldn't change the diameter of the plug. Start a little at a time until you get a tight, but manageable fit. If it's the...

3rd flat in under a month (Radwagon)

The best quality tubes, tire liners, and tires are worth their weight in gold. I paid about $100 for parts and $40 in labor for piece of mind when out on the trail

question about the motors on the radrover

@vincent Maybe different controller or year model from mine? Not sure why the difference. I've never seen over 750W on mine and I've heard of some seeing over 800W on their displays.

    Heavy duty tubes for radrover?

@vincent I probably put about a 100 miles on mine before switching to better quality. I ran 15-25 psi in them with no issues, but my riding was mostly paved trails. If you offroad, you might have more problems than me.

I've never seen over 750W on my LCD. I've seen very close. Like within 5W of that number.

An update on my life: BBSHD 52V Radrover & "Frankenbike"

@Mike in Spokane I agree completely! The factory one is junk and mine broke during the first couple of weeks (the lock out knob popped up and off). Even the internals in the fork came up somehow, but I didn't even bother RPB with a warranty claim. The replacement I purchased was the fatbike...

An update on my life: BBSHD 52V Radrover & "Frankenbike"

@PRW frame weights is exactly right. And maybe tires since they were changed as well, but the frame is the bulk of the difference. I just installed the Radrover calipers today as well as a Safaras seat so it is ready to be sold if there are any interested parties. It is noticeably faster (both...

An update on my life: BBSHD 52V Radrover & "Frankenbike"

UPDATE: I just test drove the Frankenbike today for the first time. It is extremely fast! It is very light and I can lift it up steps with one arm. The bike is probably 40 lbs. lighter or more than the stock Radrover. It did 22 mph up a medium hill accelerating the whole time with my 180 lb...
