Riese & Müller 2020, integrated battery trend continues..

A compromise could be to destinate one room for bike storage and battery recharge. @VarioHSDelite that's very close to my parking at work (in Hammerbrook for Smultron)

    Watt Wagons Ultimate Commuter Pro

first, congrats for the bike, it's truly a beast Anyway, I have a couple of ideas/questions: 1) what about a dual battery setup? How would that work? R&M bikes actually swap battery every ~5m. Also, would it be possible to have a triangle 1500Wh battery and a second 880 Wh one on the top...

Well, if you think about the benefits (not only at the personal level, but especially at the community/city one), it's really a bad decision.. Speaking from the pure insurance point of view, which is the biggest problem? That a battery may catch on fire? it's airbus, isn't?

what a shortsight policy.. it's really a pity one cannot even charge his phone? however, to make a quick calculation: supposing ~60 charges at year (a little less then once a week, over 50 working weeks), 1 KWh (2 x 500Wh) at 30 €c/KWh, this means ~18€/year for me

We have an underground garage, where there is a small place for bikes in a corner (protected by an additional metallic grid). Whenever I have to recharge, I take the batteries with me upstairs

I just saw this video: unfortunately it's in german and for the most part they show the speaking guy. But they do show (shortly) some of the new incoming bike though.. I'm looking forward to the new motors (although it looks like they will have some anti-tuning protection system), however...

    What is your security set-up?

Speaking with the previous owner of my bike, he told me that once the police said that in general thiefs are specialized on one specific lock type. So he was using the classic folding one plus the loud one on the brakes Now, I need to (find the time and the will to) grab exactly one of those

Awesome photos David. You said you are relying on mains power.. which support level are you used to travel with? How much range do you get from that? Ever happened to consume it all before reaching the next stop?

Science and bicycling meet in a new helmet design

Interesting thread, although it's more about asking if the wearing shall be made mandatory or not. One thing that bugs me is how a convertible makes actually sense, since I guess in case of accident the attachment juncture is the "weak point"

Is this a predominant USA forum?

Hi, first of all great forum, I happened to come here by searching for R&M (video) reviews.. Since I usually read miles as unit measurements, brands unknown (to me) and places located in the USA, I think the vast majority of people here come from there.. am I right? How much would you...
