Found plenty of YT videos showing how to add/change the helper springs but none on how to know when you need any of them. Nor is there any guidance in the manuals. Not seeing/feeling a compelling reason to add a helper after 4 weeks with my SL 5.0, but maybe I'm paying attention to the wrong cues.

Hmmm, my kit has 3 springs, too. But my FutureShock 1.5 is definitely springy without them and seems to be doing its job. Is there a 4th spring inside? Or are these 3 secondary springs to be added if the springy component already inside needs extra help?

Sounds like CF frame owners in gale-prone areas should consider aircraft tie-downs. The joke would've been better if the link had shown a thumbnail of the Amazon page. How do you force that on this forum?

No such label on mine. Just a somewhat smudged sticker under the rear top tube indicating serial number and date and country of manufacture. Bottom line: I have no way to PROVE that my particular ebike meets ANY safety standards — UL, EN, or otherwise.

They used this puzzling slogan for the Creo 2 as well. As a marketing ploy, the logic escapes me. Are they trying to tempt the never-ebike roadies?

One thing I'll give the 6.0 EQ is the rack: Looks sturdier, many more ways to hook on bungees and cargo nets, and MIK compatibility means many more bag and basket options. Wonder if it would work on the 5.0 EQ?

Official product pages put the medium 6.0 EQ at 18.0 kg and the medium 5.0 EQ at 16.5 kg. The SL 5.0's thinner downtube makes it look more svelte as well.
