    Chain Ring spider offsets?

This might work well for that purpose, it does for me anyway.

Question about Tongsheng PAS levels and smooth pedaling- SOLVED!

Not at all. Both of mine deliver completely smooth and natural feeling assist in all levels with or without speed sensor (no advantage running mine without speed sensor and some disadvantages to not using it).

    Change cassette or Freewheel

Good information, it'd be worth $50 to have the right tool for that motor. The standard park tool does work with my 500w geared hub motor.

    Change cassette or Freewheel

Drift maniac makes 7 speed 11-32 and 11-34 freewheels. I have one on a bike, it is loud when freewheeling but function is fine. Only need to buy a ~$10 freewheel removal tool if you already have a large wrench.

    My first e-bike build

I've installed and removed TSDZ2 mid drives several times on several bikes. Other than cutting off a non-essential support bracket mounting point on the bottom bracket of a folding bike every bike was easily and quickly reverted to stock. For someone with obvious skills like the OP it takes...

    My first e-bike build

This is your bike, right? Nice! I'm jealous. My only experience with a DIY mid drive is the TSDZ2 which I doubt would work well due to chainline issues even with an aftermarket 10mm dished chainring or the direct mount 30t or 34t chainrings, which to my understanding aren't compatible with the...

UC Pro Bafang UART motor failure

If you have the time maybe check the wiring in the torque sensor and to the main harness to see if there are broken, exposed or loose wires or connections. If specs are available maybe take multimeter readings of resistance as well as output from the sensor to the controller.

    Sora derailleur

Keep in mind that the OP posted about a slightly misaligned derailleur hanger, the first response was to take it to a bike shop. No special tools or ability required, a Sora isn't a 105 or higher precision derailleur that might possibly benefit from a $100ish derailleur hanger alignment tool...

    Sora derailleur

comparing bike maintenance and repair with highly skilled musicians, chefs or whatever isn't valid and you don't have to be a master chef to make an excellent meal

    Sora derailleur

Only because it's true. SMH when people post complaints about bike shop service when any reasonably able person, including a 12yo, could have done the service themselves and in less time. The few specialized tools required for bike maintenance and repair are inexpensive and widely available...

    Hailong battery connector dimensions?

It looks like your flexvolt battery has similar rated wh to my B&S battery. How far can that battery get you if you are using some level of assist most of the time? I realize that range is dependent on a lot of individual factors, I'm only trying to get a general idea. Won't be able to ride...

    Hailong battery connector dimensions?

Not pretty but I'm hopeful that it'll work.

    Hailong battery connector dimensions?

That crossed my mind but I decided to make copper connectors from a left over water pipe fitting. They'll be formed to a right angle and attached through a phenolic resin board attached to the base of the battery with something temporary like a little two sided tape or magnets so that it can be...

    Hailong battery connector dimensions?

Good info I'm pretty sure, but not certain, that the 48v will work with my 36v tsdz2 as the controller is the same as 48v version (that I've used several times with a 58.8v fully charged 48v Lifepo4). I did briefly hook the battery up to the 36v tongsheng and the display worked properly and...

    Hailong battery connector dimensions?

Thanks again for the information. The reason I asked was because on a whim I ordered a 48v 5ah Briggs and Stratton (same as snapper) garden tool battery that was on sale at Menards. I was thinking maybe the hailong connector might work but the dimensions are a little different and I only need...

Excellent momentum lafree Ebike for genuine sale, only 3 months old. $1500 great price, bought it from th storein July, perfect as new working order.

Maybe it's just me but that bike looks pretty scratched up and the tires look old for a 2-3 month old bike and no picture of odometer reading?

    Tongsheng assist levels

I definitely got 130+ miles on that battery (total over 3 or 4 separate rides) and it still had some juice left @46.4v. The display voltage is accurate, I like the C3 display which doesn't seem to be available anymore. Range has to do with how you ride. I rode 73 miles on a single ride with...

    Tongsheng assist levels

I bought my aftermarket chainrings from eco-ebike, in Tennessee, if I remember correctly. Their web site has been down for some time. Here is another seller that I found by googling https://www.electrifybike.com/collections/drive-train-parts the stock steel chainring is 5mm dished, you can...

    Tongsheng assist levels

Since you're experimenting why not try installing the speed sensor/magnet that Pedaluma deletes and see how it performs with the addition of that input as well as the torque sensor? Maybe it's because of how eco-cycles programmed the controllers on my 36v and 48v versions but I have none of...

Hi everyone greetings from North Wales in the UK

My wife sometimes watches Escape to the Country on TV. When North Wales is featured I watch it too. Beautiful country, I'd like to visit someday. Post lots of pictures.
