    Elderly and new to Electric-Bike's

My only concern is if the display is water proof. I’ve never seen one with the buttons not on a separate switch by your grips.

Did you look at their web site $200 off the price of 2 bikes. Shipping is free to the lower 48, I assume that includes Miami. They have an 800 number call them or just email them. I’m trying to help you out but I caint do all of your shopping ;)

Norwin, go to the Rad Power web site. You’ll get all your answers. They took the $200 tariff off. If you buy 2 they take an extra $200 off. Delivered free. I have called and emailed them and got prompt answers, no waiting. In the park were we spend the winter there are 4 Ebikes, all Rad. My dad...

Throwing your leg over an E-Bike

Think they need an adjustable top tube you can position for us old duffers. Push down for getting on and lift up for styling. ;)

Throwing your leg over an E-Bike

I didn’t think the mini bag would fit my rack. Seems I read it wouldn’t or I definitely would have bought it.

Throwing your leg over an E-Bike

Dropper post. Seems to be a large fluctuation in prices. I’m kinda of a under a $100 type of guy. Those any good?

Throwing your leg over an E-Bike

While at it what is a preferred height for the seat. Had mine adjusted so I just touched the pavement. I change it, about 1/2”, so my feet fit flat on the pavement. Better getting on but I kinda like my legs a little more extended while riding.

    Auto Electronic Shifting A Blast!!

Good write up, so I took a look. Very impressive, but out of my price range. Maybe in a couple of years others will go to that system, bringing the price down

Throwing your leg over an E-Bike

I fiddled with the rack and got it down about an inch. Can do more mods when I get home for the summer and lower it more. Practicing I found my leg not really clearing the seat when stepped over. Lowered the seat 1/2” and with those changes it is much better. I put my tools in a frame mounted...

Throwing your leg over an E-Bike

I’ve done the lean the bike and step over but it seemed awkward. Maybe some practice. Good thing about the quick attach bag it’s easy to take off if I’m just putting around. Good advice coming even changing to a smaller bag.

Throwing your leg over an E-Bike

Yeah, but I had no problem with my Cannondale manual and have no problem without the bag. Guess I didn’t foresee the problem or I might have even bought a different rack and bag. It sure is a slick setup though.

My dad is 95 and it’s not unusual for him to ride his E-bike 20 miles. He’s the reason why I bought one at 73.

Throwing your leg over an E-Bike

Have a RadRover and just put on the Ibera rack and quick attach bag. The combo sits higher than the seat buy about 6”. I’m 73 and 6’2” and it is hard for me to swing my leg over the bike with it on. Have two replaced knees. 3 hip replacements. Arthritis in my L5. I found I can remove the bag...

    CCX Accident

Mike confirmed my thoughts. My RadRover with mechanical discs works great for me, see no reason for anything “better”. I swapped my cables to make is comparable to my motorcycle, made it so I didn’t have to use that second for me to think about which was front or back. No way do I want my brakes...

Say Hello to SURU. Is it an e-Bike? An e-moped? An e-scooter? No, it's a SURU!

I think it would look better if it was bigger, but I’m 6’3” and 225 lbs. I wouldn’t mind having one.

    Braking with both brakes?

I just switched the cables on my RadRover. It just comes naturally from riding motorcycles most of my life. I no longer have “think” which is front or back.
