I just got my bike so am no expert but have you tried adjusting the PAS/speed settings at all? Maybe that would help. Just a thought.

I would call RAD. The bike has a one year warranty and if anyone can walk you through what to check etc.. it is them. If they determine it is the controller, or something else, only they can replace it for you.
