    Any RadMini people out there

Thanks much for your comment. As a matter of fact, the laws do apply. However, I pulled some people from a burning car and the mayor gave me permission to ignore privately placed stop signs within a privately managed subdivision, so long as I am careful.

mini battery holder broken at the bottom

Bummer man. Try to get them on the phone. With my controller they called me back and I explained and then emailed a picture. I tried email at first but it took too long.

It was easy to order direct from Specialized and Vee, Amazon didn't have great selection of 20x4 last I checked. The Sunlite 20x4.25 tubes seem good though.

Hi everyone, I posted a video looking at the tools I carry to deal with a fat tire change with confidence.

In the middle is a good starting point for the tires. You can use the 26x4 Mr Tuffy's in the wheel. I would order the tires and tubes and install them. If you are unfamiliar with changing bike tires the shop can do it, even if you supply the parts. If you order through the shop you would...

Sounds familiar. I was questioning fat tires after my flat too. I don't have much evidence other than my limited experience, but if you can deal with the hassle try a high quality tire - at least in the back - a new $15 dollar tube, and perhaps a Mr. Tuffy. I put one in and have read mixed...

I like them a lot... 180 miles with no flats so far. If you like knobbies, Specialized and Vee both have 20x4 options which should be an improvement over stock. Did you find the source of the punctures?

bodyfloat or other suspension seat post for radmini or rover

The XLC is well worth $20; I can only imagine what a high quality one would feel like. This is my first susp. seatpost. Would like to know what you think of the suntour; considering it for another bike. I have the same concern about seat height, but swapping to the old post or even having a...

bodyfloat or other suspension seat post for radmini or rover

I have the cheapo $20 XLC seatpost on the mini, and it is 27.2mm. Fits great.

No, that wasn't me. I haven't experienced that.

RAD Power Bikes (RPB) - The Company

Obviously I am a fan, but, as noted above, there are two things you need to know going in. 1) Be prepared to either pay a bike shop up to $100 for a proper tune up, or be comfortable changing tires, calibrating disc brakes, and tuning derailleurs. Or comfortable in learning how to do so. 2)...

I am surprised your LBS even had 20x4 tubes. Great advice above from Ann. The tubes that came with my May radmini were definitely poor quality, I'm using Specialized presta valve tubes and they seem nice, a good replacement for the stock tubes. I am glad you found the rear wheel easy to...

    Radrover pas levels

The RW system sounds great. On my RM, which I assume is like the RR, you have to compensate for the speed limit system with very precise use of the gears in order to assist more effectively. It is cadence based, so you have to find the right pedaling rpm for the speed and effort you want. For...

Welcome to the board! Looking forward to your take on the radmini. First, ride and enjoy. There's no must haves, but I recommend first focusing on where there rubber meets the road... Tubes and tires. Have fun! Dropping my wife's car at the shop tomorrow and using the mini to get to work...

    Radrover pas levels

This hasn't been an issue with my mini, for what it's worth. I can get a workout if desired. I'll do some experimenting and report data when I get a chance.

    radrover vs radmini ride comfort?

Also, @sanglee007, are you using the sunlite Stingray style tires? How do you like them?

    radrover vs radmini ride comfort?

Sanglee, Thanks for the feedback on the videos! I haven't ridden as much as I'd like recently. I should add that the stock tires ran nicely at higher psi. I think they are 20-30psi rated? When I got the Speedsters I noticed they were rated 8-20 psi which seemed weird since they are "slicks"...

    radrover vs radmini ride comfort?

I want to point out how critical the tire pressure is. My mini feels harsh at 25psi, but totally different at 15 psi, which is what I use. Like night and day. This is with the Vee Speedsters. And judging by the amount of watt hours consumed, whatever loss of efficiency there is, is...

RadWagon - just arrived and a few questions

Hi, enjoy your new bike. A couple of comments: It's not clear where the "grinding" is coming from in your description. Could be rubbing brake rotors as mentioned above, or a derailleur needing a tuneup, if it happens while pedaling. Both are simple and can be done at home or in a bike shop...

Hi everyone, I posted a new Radmini video including an attempt at onboard filming. There's not a whole lot of Radmini content out there so I'm trying to document.
