    Rad Rover 60v 64A (4000w) regen

Magnet glue failed after very regular route. Not too much hills but speed and acceleration. 1000 Miles similar riding in The past. Winding temps ~100°C, Air cooling effective. Peak phase 130+(maybe even 150). L1019 connector with 4mm2 wiring has not failed. Only wire part (~ 4 inches) that goes...

    Rad Rover 60v 64A (4000w) regen

The motor had already some mods on it when the glue on magnets failed after some 1000 miles at ~4kw mark. Not sure of exact phase amps but 130+ something. The clutch has not failed but I have modded it to prevent failure. I tested regen braking. It works but as it massively adds strain to...

    G062.1000.DC motor MOD

Yeah. Statorade is excellent for gearless hubs. Geared hubs have outer shell that works as insulation. For that reason its not that good on this situation. I have still considered maybe trying for minor effect. I have some other idea as well. ATF between core and shell work but there are...

RadRover long range configuration 60v 41.5Ah

Did a little road trip last sunday with this setup. Did some road side repairs, had some pizza and did some coffee stops. Used about 2.1kwh on my 77 Mile trip so 27.3wh/mile. Had average speed of 20.7mph. Mostly when I had open road ahead kept the speed between 23-28 mph. Total battery capacity...

    stock ASI BAC355, 55A controller

...and common.for many manufacturers to label phase amps (for good reason) 🙂

    stock ASI BAC355, 55A controller

It was integration problems (sowfware) with ASI /CYC. Both good products but describes well that these things can be problematic.

    stock ASI BAC355, 55A controller

The "problem" with ASI is that its very closed system. I mean if you look manufacturers like CYC they had serious problems integration and moved away from ASI. Everything has its downsides. KT based system can be quite Ok too. Mine is 114A Peak battery current (phase current much much more).

    stock ASI BAC355, 55A controller

BAC is superior in quality and features. Also has FOC so higher topspeed is possible. I would say older BAC350 ( now BAC355) is propably the base from which Grin Baserunner z9 is developed. In terms of battery peak current its less but close to KT 35A controller. Phase current is less (less...

    stock ASI BAC355, 55A controller

You mean this? Its phase amps.
  13. J

    stock ASI BAC355, 55A controller

Yes. Thats what I mean. 35A Peak DC current, 70-80A Peak phase.
  14. J

    stock ASI BAC355, 55A controller

Asi BAC355 is 55A phase amps peak controller. Battery current is different thing...
