    Advice on repairing my ebike

That is a very good video and should be included, in the box, of e-bikes.

Has anyone used EBYCCO electric bikes before?

One more tip that could help you decide on a bike. If there is an ebike rental place near you, you can rent a style of bike. The bike you linked to is similar to a rad rover. If you can rent that bike, then you’ll know if a fat tire bike is for you. Don’t choose a bike on looks. You want to...

    700 series torque value

Perhaps they are accounting for the torque the rider adds while pedaling? You provide 30nm, and the motor will provide 60nm. That’s a far stretch though. Maybe someone else can come up with a better explanation. :)

    700 series torque value

Interesting. The controller is usually listed as “48v 18a”. I wonder if they increased the current cap. Sometimes, the controller would be listed as “48v 22a”. Though, I’m not sure if the would make the rated torque difference. 90nm might be about 80 phase amps.

Has anyone used EBYCCO electric bikes before?

I think I spent a good 4-5 months before choosing my bike. There are so many to choose from. Take your time, ask lots of questions, and look at as many video reviews as you can handle (then a few more). You’ll find the right bike for you. It’s out there somewhere.

hello everyone I'm new here and would like to learn some things..

The controller you have MAY have an output for a “3 position switch”. This switch normally would be “eco”, “normal”, and “sport” modes. Would you mind sharing a picture of the controller (along with its connections) and a link to the kit? The throttle, you mention that it has lights, does it...

Rating you preferred eBike repair Facility.

I one hundred percent agree with The Right to Repair. I am my own repair shop. Some things I can fix, some things I can’t. I rate myself 7/10 - needs more YouTube. Though, I’m with Harry. I would pay for more difficult repairs. Heck, even repairs that would take up too much of my time.

When cycling, do you like listening to music?

This is exactly why I have my JBL Clip attached near my shoulder. My volume doesn’t have to be so loud. My bell is louder than my music. Unless I’m riding with heavy traffic, then I turn it up to 11.

Has anyone used EBYCCO electric bikes before?

Some local bike stores sell Aventon. You’ll get a warranty and some kind of maintenance plan. Good if you are not comfortable working on your own bike. With the bike you’ve listed, don’t count on any kind of support from the seller.

Has anyone used EBYCCO electric bikes before?

I don’t think they know what they are doing. The brake rotors are installed backwards. Site looks pretty scammy to me. The last “review” was from December’23. Does the bike have to be dual motor? I see lots of people go with aerial, but I’m not sure if that is within your budget. Ride1up make...

    What size is my wheel?

I have a 27.5” rim. I got my tape measure and placed across the tire. It measured 28”. I changed my display to match the actual tire size and there was no change in the displayed speed.

Grin Freegen regen on geared hub

I’m super stoked. My hub motor has the rotor and the clutch in the same side. I just took delivery of a v5 BaseRunner and CA3. I’m very interested to see if we will see “adapters” for those who wish to convert.

When cycling, do you like listening to music?

Only time I turn the music down in a motor vehicle is when I’m turning on to a road with blind turns. Radio goes off and windows go down. Now I can hear the vehicles as they approach the blind turn. This or when someone is trying to talk to me.

    Advice on repairing my ebike

Most bikes use the 5.5x2.1mm barrel plug which is rated for 5a. As long as the charger is less current than that, you should be good. I have a 2a and a 3a charger for my battery. The 2a charges at 1.5a max and the 3a charges at 2a max. I’m starting to think that the current of the charger is...

When cycling, do you like listening to music?

My buddy does the same thing with his speaker. Puts it right in the water bottle holder. Perfect spot. I use the JBL Clip. JBL makes really nice speakers. They sound very good. Their speakers usually go on sale as well.

When cycling, do you like listening to music?

I’ve tried to listen to music while riding. I love music, but between the wind noise and the fact I can’t hear the surrounding traffic, I just can’t wear headphones. I do have a Bluetooth speaker that is at my shoulder on low volume. I can hear my surroundings and not worry that I’m blasting...

    Advice on repairing my ebike

Sounds like you've isolated the trouble to the battery. The battery listing you have shared does not list which cells are being used in the pack. Only "Grade A high power cells" is extremely vague. Are they Panasonic, Sony, Tesla, Molicel, Sanyo, Samsung, LG? Those are the only branded cells I...

    Is Vado Smoking Addictive?

I’ve thought about that, but many are wearing earbuds and I doubt they would hear me, unless I use my horn. Also, I notice most people are out on a ride for enjoyment. Why make it a competition? Though, it would be fun to try to race a rad bike with 3 kids on it. They might be game.

PROOF You Don't Need a [tent] Footprint!

Camping breakfast is the best breakfast. Cook bacon first. Leave some bacon grease in the pan and cook your diced potatoes. Then leave all the bits from the potatoes and bacon (but not too much as to drown the eggs) and scramble your eggs in there. This method doesn’t create a lots of dirty...

PROOF You Don't Need a [tent] Footprint!

But there is nothing like the quiet after a good night sleep, away from all city noises, in the morning. Then feeling the cool air while making your first cup of coffee to start the day. I can smell the trees now. It’s so nice.
