    Commute Speed

Before I installed the rear wheel hub it took me 45 min. Coming home, almost all up hill, and exhausted, now with PAS it takes me it takes me 23 min. But I'm not in the city, so at time 40% hills to deal with Vs. Red lights.

    Overal Experiences; Positive and Negative

At 50 I found my self struggling to make it up in the mountains where I live. I recently moved from Virginia mountains to the Tennessee mountains. Until I could get a stable built and my horse and buggy here I had to find an alternative. I purchase a all aluminum mountain bike 10 speed and hopes...

    Hub locks up backing up.

Update to this, the Wheel rolls freely backwards now, I'm hoping that I made a silly mistake and the pedal was just hitting the kickstand.

    Hub locks up backing up.

Got home from a ride plug the bike up to charge it afterwards I went to push it backwards and it felt like the motor was locked up. However you can push it forward pedal it and even use the throttle everything seems fine Ford. It's always been very easy to push backwards. Like I said now it...

Odometer has stopped working - but speedo still works fine..

QUOTE="mrgold35, post: 145510, member: 9011"]I still have the wireless Cateye Padrone+ I can put on my old pedal bike. I ended up misplacing where I put my removable CatEye Velo 9 LCD screen from that bike a few years ago. Willing to bet, its where you left it. Joking aside I have put...

Odometer has stopped working - but speedo still works fine..

That is odd I have a wireless unit, just type in the wheel size, it is only .05 mph off GPS. And i do not have any issues,MPH,max speed,Aveg. Speed. Total miles, and current MPH, I also paid 17.00 for mine, it is mounted to the front wheel, I have mine about 1/8" from the sensor magnet, for some...

Odometer has stopped working - but speedo still works fine..

Is this a manual speedometer odometer? I would guess it's what it would be I don't see how a digital could go out like that. If it is a manual speedometer the gears or mostly made of plastic and it's possible they were stripped out causing it to stop working. If it is hooked up to your wheel hub...

    Knowing your battery range,

I did that for 2 months when I first moved here it almost killed me, so to speak. A bad back and 50yrs old I just can't do what I use to, any way that is why I bought the kit, to help me getting up all the big hills. There's almost no flat areas unless I go to town and even there its pretty hilly.

    Knowing your battery range,

I guess you mean "motor alone"? The motor only has one gear. Human power is 10 speed MTN. Bike. I did give it a try one day, went 10 miles no peddling but it appeared there was plenty left also.

    Knowing your battery range,

@harryS. Fully. Charged is showed 52.22 but I would like to have something to monitor on a long ride though hard to gage here in the mountains. I would feel safer with a good led monitor on my handlebars. This is the cheesy monitor I was talking about, oh and i avrege 15mph.
