Something New Coming From Rad Power Bikes.

The specs are out: (Link Removed - No Longer Exists) It's close to a narrow tire RR with fenders & rack, with the same price as the RR. Seems like they missed an opportunity for a low cost - lighter bike to compete with the likes of Sondors thin.

    Fenders from Big O Mfg.

Hard to tell, I've only been on a couple of short rides with lights on, like under 5 miles. Nothing noticeable in those instances.

    Fenders from Big O Mfg.

Awesome that they are back, now with more mounting hardware. The mounting brackets looks really interesting ( http://stores.bigomfg.com/4-adjustable-bracket/ ), a little less clean, but probably a lot easier to work with than the old brackets.

    Fenders from Big O Mfg.

It's plugged into the main battery using the stock headlight wire. But it required a voltage converter because stock voltage is 48v and there isn't much of a selection of lights that can take that voltage. I posted on what I used in the following thread...

    Radrover fenders

Those were fenders from a company called Big O manufacturing. At some point, they stopped working with Rad power bike company, and further they stopped selling the mounting hardware. Don't even know if they are still in business or not. There's a thread on it here...

Something New Coming From Rad Power Bikes.

Good guess on the city bike. Turns out it's the "Radcity." It makes a lot of sense. I mean, none of their other bikes are all that apartment friendly. At 60 lb & above, they are difficult to bring up stairsways & such. And some of us use the other bikes as mostly city bikes anyway. I know I do...

    rear view mirrors ?

I'm using this one. They do come in pairs but I only need the left one. I have it as far left as the stock grips allow. Looking at it, my arm does block it a little bit but I find that just a little head tilt takes care of that. In my case though, I have a aftermarket handlebar that's lower so I...

    Rear Rack installation for RadRover

Those are Big O fenders. Long story short, they stopped selling the mounting hardware so I bought mine used off of someone who no longer had the Radrover. More on Big O here: https://electricbikereview.com/forums/threads/fenders-from-big-o-mfg.3288/

    Rear Rack installation for RadRover

I don't remember it being that hard to fit. The only thing I remember was the screws were tight at the eyelets near the seat. Here's how mine looks, IB-RA5 on my 2016:

    Changes to my RadRover

Yeah, Mike has a 2015 Radrover, I have a 2016. The 2016 Radrover has a smaller triangle (probably so the standover height would be lower), so the bag only looks larger in comparison. There should only be one large model.

    CLIPLESS PEDALS

I have these Shimano PD M324 pedals on my Radrover. One side is SPD, the other side is platform. After 10 years of roadbike riding with various clipless pedals, I don't feel right on a bike unless I'm locked in.

    Fenders from Big O Mfg.

I bought a used set of Big O fenders from forum member that had a 2015 Radrover. And I'm fitting it on my 2016 Radrover. The only thing I had to make was one L bracket, to secure it to the bar between the seatstay. Here's what it looks like (cut, drilled, painted) and where it came from: . If...

    radrover vs radmini ride comfort?

Forum member Casey is selling his 26x2.5 Maxxis Hookworm tires & tubes in the "for sale" section, with pictures so you can check them out. He has the Big O fenders so you can compare it with pictures of the 4" tires vs the 2.5 Maxxis within the fenders. I bought his Big O fenders and the...

    Camping set up

Does the RW really need anything in the front? I've seen videos of people riding the RW with an adult in the back and they seem OK.

    Let's talk Lights..

Just added a tail light, why use AAA batteries when we have this giant battery there. Since 12 volt is available for me now, I just browsed some ebay motorcycle lights. I chose this one because the screws in the back fits exactly my Ibera IB-RA5 rack. The license plate holder comes off so I used...

    Let's talk Lights..

It's this one. Btw because it was brought up earlier, since it's this easy to convert to 12 volt from 48 volt stock, it should be easy to use any 12 v tail light. It's just a matter of running an extra wire.

    Let's talk Lights..

I have the above light wired and working very well. Went through 3 different converter before getting one that's light enough and working. For the record, this one works and is light enough. Plus I trimmed it and painted it black. This one also works, but is bulky and heavy. And finally, this...

    Radrover pas levels

I thought PAS 1 limit was based on watts. Someone said it was 200w.

question about the motors on the radrover

Yeah, watch the LCD's wattage indicator. My motor, controller, & battery are completely stock and I'm pretty sure I've seen over 780 watts a few times going up hill. Btw, the 2016 does say 48V750W on the hub motor.
