Can't get up to 23mph - bummed out

At 6 feet tall you really should have a large frame but a medium frame barely gets you by. The seat is definitely too short, especially considering you have medium frame (unless you have very short legs for your height). A larger frame would lend itself to a more comfortable riding position. I...

Now the threats have gone to "Give me more money for shipping of batteries". Mo money, mo money, mo money... eneki 13 minutes ago Sondors, You should honor your commitment to your backers who paid for the battery early on similar to you discount to backers for the ebike who paid early. I want...

Can't get up to 23mph - bummed out

I don't think it has anything to do with the sensor alignment. Too bad there isn't a hack to forgo the speed limiter. It would take it out of warranty though. The power/torque is there. One would think there has to be a software/firmware hack to get the speed limiter higher??? Any ideas anyone...

Can't get up to 23mph - bummed out

The thing I like about gear-less hub motors is shhhhh quiet. But yeah, the platinum Stromer is a nice looking commuter and does 28 mph pretty easily. I have yet to ride the 28 mph version of Nitro but again, Ann M. says it easily does 28 mph. Eflow should have done a better job of distinguishing...

Start at the top of the Alps (kidding). Ideally you would buy a computer for the bike that enables assist levels along with a watts used monitor. Something like what the RadRover has.

Can't get up to 23mph - bummed out

The Nitro is still a very impressive bike especially if you consider cost. The "new" ST2 puts out 35Nm of torque compared to 40Nm of torque with the Nitro albiet at a max of 20 mph. The Nitro only puts out 30Nm of torque with the motor wound to 28 mph. So, she appears to climb just as well as...

This is a quote from one of the moderators(Ann M.)... "@Hunter, the torque sensors on the Eflows are notorious for misalignment which might be the reason your bike isn't performing right. The Eflow I've ridden did 28-30mph with my light pedaling style--I'm not a stomper! Ask your local Ebike...

Operator, Currie did not start making 28 mph bikes until 2014 (all black decals). During the same year they went to a bigger battery. Even with that year (2014) you had a choice between speed and torque. It is obvious that you got the higher torque version. If the shop lied to you about the...

Can't get up to 23mph - bummed out

I am a pretty strong rider with the exact same bike you have. I have the smaller battery (like you) along with the same top speed of 20 mph. With fairly hard peddling I can maintain 21-22 mph for pretty good stretches. In peddle assist mode 1 with pretty decent peddling I can get at least 40...

I personally don't have a problem with the bike. I have a huge problem with the lies and gross exaggerations. People bought what was advertised. That's why sells was huge. The biggest problem will be who will get the bikes? How many will get the bikes? Will anybody get their reward? Will the...

Agreed. But lets face it, he will be carrying both surf board and bike once he gets to the sand. As far as locking E-Bikes up, I believe that is a bad idea.

The genius of Sondors... Since the threat beat down yesterday, Sondors has brought in over $12,000 more in shipping charges alone. Not bad.

Or was it? Sondors is "man-handling" backers into more money without clear indication that thousands of bikes have already been delivered, especially off USA soil. I would call it more than strange. It is a threat! I also find it actually strange that Sondors bike recipients feel so much joy...

Yes FTC I find it very interesting to threaten backers in this way. First of all, they have a separate site they are taking orders on at "http://gosondors.com/" so why stop building bikes in the first place??? Rather than update people on how many bikes have been delivered and other needed info...
