    48v 19.2ah max charge volts?

There's a chart for every voltage, as well as a lot of other good info, here: https://electricbike.com/forum/forum/knowledge-base/batteries-aa/12542-luna-hardcase-battery-documentation

    48v 19.2ah max charge volts?

I get the reading off my Luna advanced charger. But I think Bruce and devhead are most likely right - it's topping out in the mid 53V range. It's just been a while since I fully charged my battery so I probably mis-remembered. Thanks for the explanation, Bruce! That's what I suspected as...

    48v 19.2ah max charge volts?

Now you have me thinking - it was a while ago, and I might have my number wrong. When I get my new wheel I'll double check that max charge. Battery life extension, maybe?

    48v 19.2ah max charge volts?

Hi - I got the 19.2 ah 48v battery with my CCS and noticed it charges to 54.2V instead of 54.6 volts. This is still a 97% charge and I only charge to 80% for daily use, so the impact to me is negligible, but I'm curious if others have seen this as well.

Report of my first 4000 miles on a CCS (also my first 5 months of owning it)

I'd be curious to see what kind of mileage, reliability, and maintenance mid-drive bike owners are getting, but this thread demonstrates why I still prefer hub drive bikes for commuting even though mid-drive is in vogue these days. Independent motor and pedal drive systems, less drivetrain...

New CrossCurrent S hub motor is knocking.

Sadly, nearly two weeks after Juiced received the new parts, I still don't have a shipping notification even though the parts are listed on the website for sale. This is not "maximum speed", and it's really frustrating. [edit] I received a shipping notification and tracking number this...

New CrossCurrent S hub motor is knocking.

First, thanks for weighing in on this, Tora. Great to hear you've taken steps to prevent this for other customers. Happy to send you my support ticket details offline if that would be helpful to you. I agree with you, Kilogttam, to a point - I was happy to tighten spokes and spend several...

New CrossCurrent S hub motor is knocking.

Yeah, the real loss is that it makes it hard for me to recommend Juiced to friends. My first ebike was a RadCity, and while the specs are considerably below those of the Juiced (hence the upgrade) I recommend Rad to friends without hesitation due to their service reputation and the fact that...

New CrossCurrent S hub motor is knocking.

    I got the same update.

CCS: Rec for rack that fits standard pannier bags?

My Vaude Aqua pannier (available on Amazon) has an adjustable bottom hook and mounts up great to my CCS. Great bag, too.

New CrossCurrent S hub motor is knocking.

I wish I knew that was an option... after requesting this repeatedly from Support the only option I was given was sending it in. It's been there a week now. I'll let you know when I get it back. Sounds like they got a bad batch of motors from Bafang.

New CrossCurrent S hub motor is knocking.

My rear wheel is back at Juiced being fixed for the same problem. If you don't have your original box, a double thickness wardrobe box from a self-storage will fit the wheel. The axle prevents a standard bike wheel box from fitting.

New Cross Current S - Gear Skipping

I have a 48v advanced charger from Luna Cycle, which allows you to select both 2-5 amps and 80/90/100% charge level. About $100, and works great. You have to either swap out the plug to a barrel-type one, or find an adapter that goes straight from its xt60 plug to the one on your CCS. No biggie.

    Knocking Freehub and Cassette Removal?

Anyone have experience removing the freehub from the CCS? I took a stab at it today and backed off after removing the cassette and two washers inside the freehub didn't free it up. Also, I removed the chain and the click/pop persists 1x/rotation when manually spinning the rear wheel, so it's...

    Knocking Freehub and Cassette Removal?

Thanks, everyone! I've isolated it to the rear wheel area. I can actually feel the pops holding a finger against the end of the axle when I crank slowly backward. My first attempt was to have the LBS replace the bottom bracket, so that's not it, and I've swapped out and tightened the pedals...

CCS Tire Upgrade: Schwalbe, Conti, Maxxis...

Schwalbe 28x2" Energizer went on... just barely... with some spoke retensioning and removing the rear fender. I think the fenders will go back on when I bend in the metal clips that hold the fenders to their frame. They're working well so far!

    Knocking Freehub and Cassette Removal?

Loosening the cassette didn't work. I also removed it and there's nothing readily off about the freehub itself. The clicking/poppping happens when pedaling forward and backward, but not coasting. The wheel itself can be completely still as long as the chain is turning the freehub. There's...

    Knocking Freehub and Cassette Removal?

Ha - nevermind - it pulled right off :-P ... I'll follow up on what I learn about the knock.

    Knocking Freehub and Cassette Removal?

Hi all - first post! I've picked up a ton of great info lurking on this forum over the past month or two. I just upgraded to a Crosscurrent S from my first ebike and am loving it... except for the knock in the rear wheel! I've done all of the upstream diagnostics - the knock is periodic with...
