    ST1x

I tested and almost opted for the ST1 however, the superior feel, and ride quality of the ST2 can't compare with the ST1. But the ST1 is aimed at the concious price budget individual. I love the ST2, just feels perfect in everyway possible. But what Stromer needs to do is to keep pricing for...

    battery issue and Abus locks

Understood and you are correct, however, due to the frame size on the ST2 one has to select a U-Lock that will fit accordingly or a chain option that will not be too much of a burden. Living in Chicago, which is a major city, one has to be extra careful. I have emailed Ubus and Kryptonite to...

Issues with purchasing a bike transport rack for the ST2

I have looked into the Kuat NV, Thule T2 Pro, Yakima, etc. The issue that I am having is that from the hitch pin hole to the outer rear tire I have about 12 1/2 or 13 inches of space being occupied by my tire. I have attached a few pictures to illustrate whats going on. I was told that the...

    battery issue and Abus locks

I am puzzled as well, love the ST2 don't get me wrong but anything thats being controlled by technology can fail. My ST2 seems to be holding up its charge well now. I unplugged the battery, re inserted it, placed it on the charge, charged the battery. Woke up this morning with the bike fully...

    battery issue and Abus locks

Since the Abus locks are measured in centimeters and not inches its hard to make a decision on which lock would be ideal, I do believe that the Abus is geared more for other bikes and not ebikes. I'm just trying minimize a thief from taking away my bike, even though no lock is fool proof...

    battery issue and Abus locks

Hey guys picked up my new Stromer ST2 yesterday. Had to drive about 2 1/2 hours to save me a few bucks but it was worth the drive. At first I liked the white color version but I opted for the black color version instead. More "manly" looking, lol. Anyway, I got home, placed it on the...

    Insurance worth the cost?

I'm new to the ebike world, love my ST2 wondering if insuring it would be a worthwhile investment? Anyone use bike insurance? If so, share experience.... Thanks :)

    New to Stromer ST2

Sorry for asking so many questons, the Abus folding bike lock you state you double up two each? Are you saying to purchase 2 of these locks? I'm a bit confused, lol~ Also, the Abus comes in different sizes, which one will be ideal for this type of bike? Thanks again~

    Thudbuster / Body Float

IMO, the body float is way better than the Thudbuster, however when budgets don't allow you have to get whats suited for your budget, style, etc. But when you spend 4 or 6k on a bike $250 for a BF isn't a bad price to invest in.. Just my 2cts

    SUSPENSION STEMS FOR ST-1 & ST-2

Ever consider bike insurance? Sadly, accidents, theft happens and when you spend this kind of money on a bike. It's better to be protected, best of luck to finding a resolution but consider insurance as an alternative

Post pics of your Stromer here

Once I took this bad boy on a test drive I had to get her, wanted it in black but in white looks more cleaner, also, for safety purpose white stands out more. I literally didn't want to stop riding the ST2, I was "HOOKED" I never expected to spend so much on a bike but you only live once~ Now...

    Transporting a Stromer ST - 1

Curious, I have an ST2 that I recently purchased... Which Thule bike carrier are you using? I was informed that the Kuat NV would work the best, but of course that bike rack isn't cheap~ But it's a worthwhile investment

    New to Stromer ST2

Thanks David~ The Thudbuster comes in different sizes, 27.2mm, 30.9mm and 31.6mm What exactly does that mean? Sorry, bit naive about these things. Also the seat by Brooks seems to be thin, and looks uncomfy. But then again I don't know..

    New to Stromer ST2

Hello, I am new to this forum and new to the ebiker world. After testing numerous other brands such as Polaris, Cross Current, Evo Cross, Haibikes, Specialized, Izip, etc etc and after doing countless research I ended purchasing the ST2. Out "ALL" the ebikes I tested the Stromer ST2 was by far...
