    Priority Current Discount?

The Costco discount isn't there because there are no bikes in stock. It's possible that it returns when the bike is back in June, but that's just a guess. My recommendation: reach out to Priority. They might be able to hook you up with some discount.

Someone stole my $4700 ebike. Need a new bike :(

All those signs on the way up to the observatory about never leaving valuables inside your car are deterrent enough for me.

Oh, man, that sucks. How did it happen? You're getting great (and better) suggestions, but if you have any questions on the Current, feel free to reach out.

Have you seen any newer belt drive ebikes coming to the market

I'm assuming you're talking about the Priority Current. The Embark, as far as I know, isn't being sold anymore. I think you'd struggle with the range on the Current - I can get 50-ish miles if I restrict myself to the lowest level of assist. A ride exclusively on PAS 3, for example, gets me 35...

Priority Current vs. Yamaha Cross Core vs. Yamaha Urban Rush

I probably missed this post. If it helps anyone, you can read thorough my thread on the Current here. I recommend starting from the post I liked and reading through the end, as my opinion matures the more I get to ride the bike. Also, the more I rode it, the more I liked it!

    Radrunner Plus vs. Priority Current

Welcome to the club! I am still very happy with mine. If you haven't seen and still are interested, you can read thorough my thread here. I recommend starting from the post I liked and reading through the end, as my opinion matures the more I get to ride the bike. Also, the more I rode it, the...

    Help finding my white whale?

Don't worry. Being picky in these threads is good. Without a focus, you'll get recommendations that are all over the place and end up worse than where you started. With a focus, you will get recommendations that represent small compromises and you can understand the lay of the land better. The...

It's also fully sold out on their website.

    Buying online

I'm guessing they're referring to just the throttle. Most mid drives sold in LBS have no throttle. Similarly, most hub drives from online sellers they are asked to service likely have throttle. They're probably just associating the two.

    Buying online

During the past months I've been working on my relationship with the closest LBS. At first, they looked at me and my online bike with suspicion. Since then I've stopped by for advice, made a point to purchase accessories locally versus online, played with their dog, etc. They know me now and...

    My Eahora x5

Thanks for sharing your experience. What was the issue in the end? Under what basis did they deny the warranty? Can you go into a bit more detail to help/warn potential buyers?

Sub $3000 Leisure/Commuter Bike For Hilly Area [Final Choice: Priority Current]

I'm glad that's your experience! Here in SF, even for completely mechanic checks (no electronics!) , most bike shops don't wanna touch it with a 10 foot pole.

Surgery recover/an ebike mainly for hill assist???

Thanks for the reminder of how out of shape I am 😂 But yes, my intention was exactly to highlight that for this kind of hill, maybe a good mid drive would fare better than a hub motor with a throttle.

Surgery recover/an ebike mainly for hill assist???

Thanks! I guess that would be a ~22% hill? That is indeed pretty steep.

Surgery recover/an ebike mainly for hill assist???

My interpretation is that a throttle isn't necessarily needed. A pedal assist only bike that has good torque will handle hills with minimal effort. @Coby Black when you mention hill assist, is your desire (or preference) to throttle up the hill or pedal it up with significant motor help? And...

Sub $3000 Leisure/Commuter Bike For Hilly Area [Final Choice: Priority Current]

Yeah, repairs will be an eternal concern for us Current owners. If something happens within the warranty period, I'm sure Priority will figure something out. However, outside of warranty period, we're on our own. There's no authorized dealer or shop with experience with this particular brand.

Sub $3000 Leisure/Commuter Bike For Hilly Area [Final Choice: Priority Current]

I'm glad I've been helpful! As you maybe have seen from some of my updates, I wouldn't make class 3 a hard requirement anymore. In my use case, in a busy city, I can hardly reach class 3 speeds, let alone maintain it. It also drains the battery very quickly. I do go over 20mph, but only...
