    any thoughts on velogical?

Surely that wouldn't work at all in wet conditions. A mid-drive motor or a hub motor are vastly superior designs than a friction drive. The only good things about friction drives is that they're very light and tend to be relatively efficient because they spin at high speeds. In every other way...

Well I just got my 3rd Turbo S and...

That's really strange. As you mentioned, this issue shouldn't affect your enjoyment of the bike much because it only limits your range by 2%. No big deal, really. Another thing to note is that some of Specialized's competitors, specifically Stromer, seem to have quite a few reliability issues...

    My shiny new Radwagon (RadDragon)

You'll regret that the first time you get a flat. :D I got five flats in the first 1,200 miles on the stock tires that came with my ebike. I added Mr Tuffy tire liners (which behave similarly to the extra layer of rubber that's in the Schwalbe Marathon Plus) and haven't gotten a flat in the...

    Chain Snapping

My chain has snapped off twice in the last two weeks and I'm trying to figure out why. The first time it happened was when I was riding on flat ground and going about 20MPH. The second time, I was climbing a moderate hill going 20MPH and standing on the pedals and putting in a lot of torque on...

    When there's no dealer...

Those 60MPH ebikes have been around since at least 2012. Does anyone know when Stealth started selling high-speed ebikes?

Any one get so frustrated they switched back to a non E-Bike?

If you give them a call, I doubt they'd charge a penny more than IZIP's list price. IZIP might have played around with their pricing a bit this year. I think the 2016 Dash started out at $2,999 and then later dropped to $2,599. Any dealer listing $2,999 for an E3 Dash is probably doing it...

Any one get so frustrated they switched back to a non E-Bike?

So sorry to hear about the poor reliability you've experienced. Is your E3 Dash a 2015 or a 2016? Have you checked out Small Planet Ebikes in Dallas?

Whatever happened to the Agency 2.0 Lawsuit v Sondors?

Who knows, but from what I read about Ivars' previous legal dealings involving his toy company, I think that there was a judgment against him from some company in New Jersey, and if I remember correctly, Ivars didn't pay it. That could be the case this time around, too, but that's just speculation.

after fire at crazy lennys concerns about storing batteries....?

True, but keep in mind that a faulty BMS or charger could've been the culprit instead of a faulty battery cell.

Keep your ebikes stored somewhere safe!

We were using the Kryptonite KryptoLok series 2. The only suggestions I have are to keep your ebike in a secure area like a private garage, a bike locker, or your home/apartment/condo. Even supposedly secure parking garages are rife with theft. I remember that a year ago, some guy had his IZIP...

Keep your ebikes stored somewhere safe!

Some small-time burglar snuck into our condo building's secure parking garage last night and they stole our bikes' LED headlights, headlight batteries, one LED tail light, the removable screen/control pad from an Easy Motion Evo Street, and an all-weather triangle bag. The thief (or thieves)...

    Moustache Bikes

Those are some of the most attractive ebike frame designs I've ever seen. When I first saw the Grace MXII, I fell in love, but some of these Moustache designs give Grace a run for their money!

    When there's no dealer...

Just some anecdotal evidence here, but I've ran out of battery a handful of times, and it was a real let-down. Luckily, it was usually when I was near home. I have a 417Wh battery on a 500W (nominal) ebike. I'd strongly prefer an ebike with a 700-1000Wh battery. I'm currently building one with...

    Moustache Bikes

I heard a rumor that Motostrano might carry Moustache in 2016. If so, that'd be their only US dealer, as far as I know.

How come the 2015 Pedego Interceptor (48V/10Ah) costs $645.00 > the 2016 Aerial Rider (48V/11.6Ah)?

So you didn't buy either bike, then? It seems like you have carefully avoided answering @Joe Remi 's question.

How many gears do you use?

I use all the gears, and as I'm constantly adjusting for pedaling efficiency, I shift more often than anyone on the planet. When my girlfriend rides with me, she constantly hears me clicking away. I'm surprised she hasn't strangled me yet. I figure that anyone with a keen understanding of the...

Santa showed up at my house!

Congrats on the bike! You made a great choice! I wish they could shave 10 lbs off the ST1/ST2. On the bright side, at least it's a fast bike with long range/big battery.

    GPS tracking

That's a really cool little phone! Nice a lightweight and water resistant. Unfortunately, it lacks a crucial feature: GPS.
