I feel like mine is the opposite. To be fair, I haven't ridden it or even inflated the tires yet. Just put it together and checked the torque per the book instructions, which do not point out most of the things you may be checking the torque on lol, so thats fun to figure out. But my bike...
For those that think all hope is lost….mine arrived in Michigan about 45 min ago. It was scheduled to be here yesterday, made it as far as Ohio. Left early this morning and made it to the fed ex place one city over to be rescheduled for June 1st despite being on the truck for delivery.
Then I...
I am thinking that the shipping location may also be related to the part of the country the bikes are headed to. They may all really originate in Phoenix but head to other locations first where they are then scanned in as they go onto the trucks.
So interestingly enough my second bike has started the movement process today. This one had an issue with the barcode label and it was removed and replaced. Not sure exactly what that means but hopefully it will move again tomorrow. Also interesting is that it too is shipping from pacoima ca.
Well you have the tracking number. I guess just have to keep watching for movement. My first one seemed to move faster than they said it would, but my second one is still sitting there.
I have no idea. I can't imagine the next closest fed ex shipping place would be in california, but I looked for one in that area mine was coming out of and its a very large facility. But I can't think that fed ex is picking up a shipping container, nor can I think they would have the ability...
Do you see movement in the tracking history? I guess thats the key. Where did it ship from? Mine was out of CA, so I wonder if they are subcontracting some stuff out near ports of entry to speed the process?
You know what’s interesting, and I didn’t pay any mind to it at first, but my first bike (the only one in transit so far) is shipping out of Pacoima, CA which is near LA I guess and no where close to Phoenix, even though the origin says Phoenix. It’s only made it to New Mexico so far..
Thank you for the description of the 4 inch tires and how they work, okievision. This is what actually drew me to the bike originally, and how I explained it to my wife in why we would want the 4 inch fat tires.
Yes, I don't understand the order of shipping or how it works. I feel like a lot of tracking numbers may be going out this week or getting update this week. Fingers crossed!!!
All that aside, I think what your seeing here is growing pains in dealing with people coming out of the COVID-19 lockdown. Now maybe this doesn't apply to you per se, but I am sure if people were still locked up in their houses instead of seeing the end of this thing with the weather getting...
Both mine are haven't moved as well. Though I feel as if they are playing the "create a shipping label" game, to make it appear as if Fed Ex just hasn't picked them up when maybe in reality, they still are not ready.
This is the exact reason I didn't upgrade. In my mind upgrades were meant to...
