How much was the frame+postage and where did you get it?

Interesting frame+battery+motor set could be nice for that price if the postage isn't sky high. Seems like there are only high end options and now mid tier ones.

Shimano released new 5 speed automatic shifting igh for ebikes.

With your generic quality cells you can expect at least 500 0-100% charges. If you charge only to 80% and deplete to 20% you can expect over 1000 charges out of those cells. With so high mileages it's more to do how you manage your batteries(not depleting to 0% and not charging to 100%).

Yes and yet again that is due the cells Bosch are using, Bosch doesn't manufacture the cells themselves. Everyone else has the same access to to the same Generic Samsung/LG/Panasonic cells!

The thing with Apple and Android is that you can use third party chargers, batteries and accessories with those.

Bosch doesn't make their own cells they just assemble the cells in to the battery pack. Everyone else who uses same cells get similar performance.

Yeah different tastes! I'll just dial PAS up if I need more assistance, I like that assistance is more continuous and not on/off type. Great thing in Bafang motors that you can program the way you want to have them. Although at some point I'd like to try mid drive with torque sensor.

I'd say Kepler's PAS settings are the best for most natural feeling cycling. Example on PAS 1 you can go as fast as you want and the motor helps you a little bit but doesn't cut off the power if you go over x mph. You can tune down the start current etc. but for the PAS speed limits at 100%...

I've been using Kepler's from endless-sphere settings for bbs02. It sets max speeds to 100% on all pas levels and then the current goes up in increments of 10(1-10%, 2-20% etc.) With these settings cycling feels the most natural out of everything I've tested so far...
