SHOW us YOUR PIX here .... Odd, WeiRd ,UnUSuAl or EyE CaTchIng things from your rides

Oceanside, OR, taken from my patio at noon 2/23. Won't stick around long but it was the most snow we've gotten here in at least the 30yrs. my 85yr. old neighbor gal has been here. 9 or 10 inches I'd say. When I lived in Crested Butte it would have been what we called a "Rule Day" and...

    1st post. Vendor! Hi!

I guess I wasn't clear that a "well engineered" alarm was needed. I discount all the 120db ones that you mention also as basically ineffective and glad you have upped the bar for yours. Also apologize for not reading between the lines about your status as the "man". Unfortunately where I live...

    1st post. Vendor! Hi!

I have always been interested in the concept of a motion sensing alarm as a bicycle theft deterrent. Fortunately where I live and rider here I don't have to lock my bike up very often but I think your unfunded engineer is on to a good thing. My son lives in East Van and could use one though!

Cornering master class. See how much weight he puts on the front end to initiate the turn and how he sets up to ride the apex.

    Countersteering

Most on this forum that have spent alot of time on motorcycles do this intuitively I would suspect and is worth paying attention to while riding any two wheeled vehicle, especially at speed.

    Resist all negative thinking…

You obviously have never been involved with MTBR  I have been on here for almost 8 years now and have over 60 ignores, never actually checked that but just did out of curiosity. Why I keep this forum in my que is because there are some good folks that post here with helpful and...

SRAM 12 speed GX skipping in the 2 highest gears (smallest sprockets)

SRAM does have this available to replace the 11-13-15 cogs only. They wear out due to the high torque and low amount of engagement compared to the larger rings.

Want to mount downtube battery to rear rack...

If you can mount the plate directly to the rack and still be able to slide it on and off easily then that is all you need. Just fasten it down as well as possible using loctite or zylock nuts because vibration will loosen the fasteners pretty much guaranteed if you don't.

Want to mount downtube battery to rear rack...

If you could provide a picture of the actual rack you plan to use you might get a better response?

    Rear Hub Wiring Gaurd

You might try a derailleur guard? It should mount no problem to the non drive side and they are pretty cheap.

Shark Fin and Spindrift I saw on today's ride over in Cape Meares. Due to lots of recent high winds I stuck to double track for the most part but still had to get out my folding saw once to be able to get past a blow down. Trail riding in the forest would be more about pick up sticks but at...

Also have been there and done that for a similar distance......Time for a new crank probably, at least I have never had any luck getting one to re-seat and stay tight even using loctite on the bolt.
