The Como is still only charcoal. Vado has more options.

Agree with your point. It isn’t the aerodynamics of the Vado that appeal to me- its the better fenders, the suspension fork, the rear light placement, the included rack and, yes (much as I hate to admit it) the colors.

Maybe the Vado with stem riser and cushier seat.....hmmm...

I am probably leaning toward the Como at this point...but still not 100%. I have until tomorrow to decide before the rebate goes away.

Which riser did you install?

My LBS also sells Trek and he said that I should sit on the Verve Mens and the Verve Womens- that the Mens sits like the Vado and the Woman Sits like the Como. From a quick look at geometries online, that seems plausible so I am heading over there shortly to check them out--not to buy a Trek but...

That’s exactly my thought/concern—is that over time the Como will be more limiting if I find that I really get into biking more frequently.

Normal ride will be fairly leisurely. I think what I am coming down to is that I WANT the Vado but should probably get the Como.

Thanks....I have been impressed with the motor and weight distribution on the Vado/Como as well. Struggling with preferring the upright nature vs the features of the Vado. Also- concerned about whether the Como will be 'too cruiser' and if the Vado will be 'too forward'. I am probably splitting...

Any other thoughts/observations? Double rebate ends this weekend so I have to decide ASAP.

Was looking hard at the Vado and Como 4.0s after deciding Stromer was out of my price range when I found a dealer offering a substantial discount on an in stock ST1 Limited Edition. Thoughts?

Did she find the position on the Vado to be slightly more forward or substantially more forward?

I think the diff for me will be comments (like yours above) re the riding position. If it doesn't feel overly forward, I would default to the Vado.
