I know it's not good for an eBike to bake in the sun. But, what if I parked it for the day, and it was under some canopy for shade? Would the bike be ok in that case, or no?

Well, as I continue to ride, I perceive some improvements in leg strength and aerobic ability, but - my butt still really hurts. I think I can do some longer rides now. Well my legs and heart can. But, my butt keeps complainin.

I was much lighter pre covid. When covid hit, me and my wife reacted with frequent wine and food, and I got very heavy. Which then leads to - not wanting to move. I believe this journey can help me get that weight off.

Those parts comments are encouraging. Would you know if they are accurate for the Lectric-type bikes? Comments I read were from a Lectric owner, and my bike is basically that design with some small improvements. Will definitely be Sliming the tubes soon. Have the bottle ready to go.

Going to be optimistic and document my weight loss as I lose while riding. :) So far, 7 lbs since I started riding.

I have to confess that I cheaped out with my first set of mirrors, and I will eventually have to replace. Mine are the circular type, and I am finding it a challenge to get a proper view out of them. Need something wider.

Is there a known, very good online retailer for eBike parts? Yes, I bought low end, and yes, I will be responsible now for repairs. [It was the only way I could afford getting into this.] I have seen some online Facebook posts spooking me about people taking a long time hunting down parts...

I'm getting substantially more out of the battery now that I have slowed it down and left the throttle behind. Very pleasing. Was previously a little underwhelmed about what I was observing with battery use, but now I take a nice ride and barely use any power. Beautiful.
