Up a couple thousand feet within 5 miles, up the valley, out of the Ukiah valley. Nice view today at the top. Sounds of gunshots & strewn shotgun shells from the nearby shooting range had me heading down the steep loose-on-hard packed trail, testing the brakes and snow tires.

How disheartening to have a bike stolen. I had a couple bikes stolen last year. Hope it was registered, or receipts, pictures, serial number all available. Wishing you success in recovering it.

Most people seem to think that black battery case is a motor, at first, the way it just sticks out on my bike. Some ebike owners paint their case. Could work to paint that case the color of the bike. Others put a triangle bag around it, then it looks like storage and not like a battery or motor...

Looks like another long lasting, durable Schwalbe tire, similar to the marathons I have on another bike. Hopefully they'll put out a similar fat tire, 26x4. The jumbo jim they offer would be great for sand & snow, but roads, not so much.
