I turn my Allant upside down with my bar ends keeping it up off the Purion display. That way I can peddle the bike chain through my Park chain cleaner. It’s awkward but it works.
Hey @FreddieD, if you’re still there, try any you can get to test drive and pay no attention to all this! Trust your own intuition. I never even came to this site until after I bought my Trek and I love it!
Best of luck!
I hear good things about Gazelle, but, clearly, not all the parts are made by Shimano or Bosch. Nuvinci hubs never need work? It depends on your need for someone to work on (or WARRANTY) the bike beyond tires and brake pads.
A good local shop is key for me. Availability would be one of the deciding factors of course. I have bought 3 Treks in the last year and there are a bunch of Trek dealers nearby who have worked or been willing to work on them. My Allant+7 is a great bike with over 1850 miles in the last year...
Is a GPS tracker truly effective as it relates to ebikes? Yes. The real question is does the legal system allow for their use to retrieve a stolen ebike? I’m sure in some cases they would and in others, maybe not.
I do not carry proof of ownership of my ebikes but maybe I should. Lord knows I...
No, the bag has big Velcro straps on both ends (and even bigger straps on the body) so the bag is very stable in the limited tests I’ve given it. The 625 was ordered through my Trek guy and he ordered the cover pieces, assembled it all and made sure the battery pack fit all three ebike RIB...
You’re an inspiration! Congrats on your work and perseverance paying off!
My wife has had 2 major bouts with ovarian cancer and she’s had 2 major surgeries, a major round of radiation, and what seemed like endless chemo. So proud of you both!😎👍
You’re wasting your time. Teach all your buddies how to properly use their bikes. Amazing how clean your bike and tires are for being in such horrible dirt.
Sadly, it’s not something you or I can do.
I also wanted the option to turn my lights on/off because of battery use, the headlight gets quite hot, and I mostly ride on paved trails during the daylight. My Trek network has been more than happy to update/change options and not one of them has...
I’m certainly no expert. We went through this with my wife’s Allant+7 and that was my Trek guy’s concern. Fortunately, his installation/adjustment of the stem was just right for her and no cable changes were needed.
A. Agreeing with him is a joke.
B. The idea that you’re suggesting is that youre on massive hills is subject to video proof so you can show your friends how THEY SHOULD START UP A MASSIVE HILL.
