Sounds Like Haibike messed up. My understanding is the Range Booster on Trek ebikes like the Allant are supposed to charge and discharge simultaneously from the in-frame charging point.

Wow, half the folks in this forum insist on going faster and look at the idiots they show in this story with throttles going very fast. Labeled as an ebike accident and emphasizing how fast and dangerous they are. This is the kind of rider who will get laws against ebikes passed very quickly.

I had a similar rack from Thule and returned it within a week. Just wouldn’t work for my ebikes and was a PITA to load. Went with a Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE for two ebikes. Works great!
