Vado 5.0 vs. Priority Current vs. Bluejay Sport

great that will give you a chance to test ride it, some people don’t like the auto shift, personally I really like it and haven’t had any problems with it, it takes a little time to get used to it, I am a casual type rider, I enjoy riding rail trails around the southeast, had mine since September 22

Vado 5.0 vs. Priority Current vs. Bluejay Sport

I’ve had a priority current and it’s a great bike, I now have a Vado 5.0, the Vado is a better bike and more expensive, although currently priced at 4000, 1500 less than what I paid for mine

    New Specialized Vado 5 IGH

Not exactly sure what you’re referring to but if it’s ghost pedaling, it is a issue on the auto shift in the 7-10 mph range, you can usually just push the pedal harder briefly and it will go into a higher ratio, also I use the slowest setting on cadence setting and drop the eco setting to 10-15...

help me with my Turbo Vado "buyer's remorse"

That’s my thought, social media has fueled our desire for more “things”, I’ve had three e-bikes myself, am enjoying my turbo Vado and now have my 13yo grandson riding with me on his rockhopper, he rode with me 125 miles last summer.

Powder coating wore off to metal on Turbo Vado 5.0

I have used auto touch up paint although it has gotten expensive even on Amazon, on the flat black parts I’ll hit it a few times with a permanent marker, there are many of them around my home, of course I can’t find one when I need it,

Turbo Vado 5.0 IGH - The Nightmare Continues

I’ve had my Vado 5.0 IGH since August, put about 1000 miles on it rode it on roads, trails (paved and unpaved, beaches, and a couple places I probably shouldn’t have been with it) it has been flawless ZERO issues, the auto shift has been spot on for me 95% of the time, the cvt is about smooth...

Great sale going on now at Evelo

Sorry if I didn’t clarify, I have a Specialized Vado, but no I don’t feel a need for one on my bike, I though you could get a throttle on any Evelo bike, I think it’s optional, the motor on that bike is more powerful than mine, great company, always heard good things.. call them and ask they...

Great sale going on now at Evelo

I had a Current 5 speed, great bike, not even close to the auto shift, I know that you read posts as I do, people have purchased a bike with this hub, and they are upset that it will not run 28 mph, which is something I rarely do (cadence over 90) they claim it’s false advertising, the bike will...

Great sale going on now at Evelo

I personally like this auto shift hub, it takes a little time to get used to, but now I wouldn’t have it any other way, but I usually ride at steady speed, I usually stay 15-20 mph, sometimes more if I’m closer. Most of the time I use slow or slowest settings on my Vado, but you can do it with...

2022 turbo Vado 5 IGH battery does not secure …. Loose when pushing it in at the top.

Also if it’s not tight at the bottom you need to turn the key to make it tight, you probably know that, trying to cover everything that would cause the battery not to be tight

2022 turbo Vado 5 IGH battery does not secure …. Loose when pushing it in at the top.

Not sure what’s going, I’ve never had a problem with it. The bar ( or bolt) at the top of the battery should fit tight in the hook channel in the bike at the top, check to see if it’s still there,I always have the bottom of the battery pulled out as I push the battery firmly into the hanger and...

    Another Turbo Vado Ergonomics Thread

Welcome to the forum….. I am 70 and have a Vado and also struggle with loading it on my 4x4 f150, some time ago Court did a video with his dad on loading a heavy bike on a rack, helped me, put the front wheel on first, strap it in loosely, then put the back wheel on, don’t have a clue how to...

    Hub, mid, torque sensor

Folder is a term I use to describe them, nothing negative, I see them a lot when I’m in my RV, when I talk to them they are happy with them, when I notice them they may be gone a hour or two, most of them ride them locally around the campgrounds, or where they live. I think a trip like that...

    Hub, mid, torque sensor

Did any of the reviews say anything about riding 150 miles in 2 days? Let me tell you, I do that on my full size some, and it hurts, especially where the sun doesn’t shine, can’t imagine it on a folder. 1300 sounds like a lot for a used Lectric folder…..but maybe someone will chime in that knows...

    Hub, mid, torque sensor

Welcome to the forum, if I was looking at a folder it would be the Evelin Dash, it is more expensive at the sale price and they are into Aug. for delivery. You are not going to get 75 miles on a folder battery, they are limited in size. The Lectric bike are not bad bikes, but you get what you...
