I can confirm the KT controllers work with Aventon motors. Tbh, I also did the change but reverted back to the stock controller, I didn't like the feel of it. I like the more 'moped' type of ride.

@Tom@WashDC @AHicks i contacted the KT controller guys who then pass my email to a third party who then contacted me about ordering a KT 6 mosfets 20A controller, after a few months it arrived today! Looking at this picture, do you reckon it’ll work? I paid 80 bucks in total, this included shipping.

My brakes have gone squidgy so need to add some oil and remove air. I’ve got a bleed kit but no ‘mineral oil’. I’m not going to do a proper bleed rather just top up the oil in the system. I don’t have official hydraulic brake mineral oil so I was thinking to substitute this with baby oil...

12mph will increase the time by probably 20 mins…. I don’t I can handle that longer commute in central london, lol. If only Kunteng made a smaller 22a controller, I’d really like a clean install with the controller in the downtube on my Aventon LEVEL.

Thank you Harry. I actually have a display for the KT controller, it’s a LCD8. Some other members have already changed to a KT controller and they’re loving it. I mainly want to change controller to give me PAS levels more flexibility and also want to change the speed of my throttle.

This is a 22a which is sadly too big for my requirement. Thank though!

Apologies for the late reply but I found the screw, the one that fit was M05x10mm. Although it was slightly shorter it tightened well. See below, my the original on the left, the new one on the right! Thank you all for your input and help on this. Phew!
