Loud noise and loss of power

Your battery is probably not pushed all the way in on the battery mount. Make sure you hear the 2 click and have it tight and snug on the mount. Another thing to look for is the wires particularly the battery to the controller. Make sure there is a good connection.

THE NEXT BREAKTHROUGH IN EBIKES- SONDORS STYLE

The fenders I post are specific for the Sondors too, I'm sure it can be adjusted or modded to fit other fat tire bikes. You can buy them in polish steel and paint it yourself, or gloss black. The price is much cheaper than Bio O. Everyone on the Sondors Owner on Facebook are getting the ones I post.

Sondors Sold 1000 Thin EBikes in a week off his website

This "thin" Sondors is geared towards a different rider but I personally like their fat tire bike more as a recreational rider.

THE NEXT BREAKTHROUGH IN EBIKES- SONDORS STYLE

What I like about the Sondors is it's a good platform to upgrade and do modification. The stock 350w Bafang motor is actually very capable and can be pushed to peak 1000w with a 48v battery, controller & LCD. I've read people who did this got really good results and are able to now climb the...

    Would like to go faster!

Christopher - the speed limiter is within the controller and by using the LCD, you can change the speed limiter to go higher. Changing the C & P parameter within the LCD you can enable tons of features such as cruise control, adjusting the PAS and adjust the current (within limit) going to the...

    Would like to go faster!

Cory - I'm trying to achieve 30mph top speed with some modification. I always ride with protective gears and with caution. :)

    Would like to go faster!

Yes on my Sondors I got 20mph top speed and when I installed the KT LCD3 to the stock controller which is a KT36/48v, I got an increase in top speed of 23mph. This is throttle only mode. I have read that the Sondors stock 350w motor can handle 48v and can push out 1000 + watt.

    Would like to go faster!

Then please explain how I got from 20mph to 23 mph after I installed the lcd? I used a GPS before and after I installed the lcd to determine my top speed.

    Would like to go faster!

Here's a controller I know for sure will work with the KT LCD3. The wire connectors are Higo which are compatible to the Sondors ebike. Not sure which connectors are used on the RR controller. http://www.velomobileshop.com

    Would like to go faster!

What kind of controller do you have?
  19. vincent713

    Would like to go faster!

You have to have a compatible controller in order for the KT-LCD3 to work.

Sondors Fact Finding. Due Diligence. Scrutiny.

Aluminum frame, smaller rims and tires, different type of battery that is more light weight and compact is my guess. It will be interesting to see what he comes up with.
