I ended up deciding new and major mfg since I am completely un-handy wrt to things mechanical. I know I paid a price for that piece of mind, local support and convenience but I am ok with that.

Hre Great find. I am very close by and have been scouring NY/CT CL and FB Marketplace and wasn’t as lucky. Ended up going new, spending about $500 more than my budget but incredibly happy with my choice. Enjoy your bike!

No worries. mission Control is the Specialized app that allows you to tune your assist levels, monitor battery usage, track your ride and your heart rate (through a related app called Strava)

I was sure that I wanted a class 3 vs a class 1. To me it was ‘why would i want a slower bike”. While I have ZERO regrets about my choice (loving it!) I will say that during a few of my rides when i looked at my speed i thought- 20mph is still really fast. ;) My rides have been averaging...

....but does it link to Mission Control? What I am looking for SPECIFICALLY is a monitor that links to MC and Strava. I want all of the data integrated.

Has anyone had good experience connecting Apple Watch to Mission Control?

I appreciate the responses here, but I am specifically looking for recommendations that connect easily to MC. A few people have recommended the Apple Watch, but others of you have said that it doesn’t connect. Is it a function of which version of Apple Watch perhaps?

This is why I had posted- if I am going to buy something, since the only thing I am likely to use it for is riding my Vado, I want to be sure it connects easily and well.

I have had an Apple watch before but didn't wear it much as I preferred my other watches.

I don’t get a check from DJT so maybe I’ll go to EBay and find a 4 from someone who is upgrading to a 5. Really don’t want to spend $400-500 for what will mostly just be a heart rate monitor.

I figured that Apple Watch would be the recommendation. Was just hoping to spend less. Also, I’m kind of into watches and don’t think I’d wear the watch other than while riding.

Does anyone have any recommendations for heart rate monitors that connect well to Mission Control? I am not a very active fitness guy so have never really used one. What is best/easiest solution? A watch? Something else? I look for your suggestions-
