are you saying you don't have or want insurance for your e-bike? just asking.. for me it was a no brainer, insurance to cover me because I commute in traffic. 150 million d1ckheads in cars that could easily cripple me or end my life, having insurance is a given.

Generic MD 1000 and HD 750 ebike model discussion

Bolton has reached out to their customers as far as I know. I have them getting me a new front fork through Bikonit because Bikonit won't sell direct to me, and it isn't a warranty issue, I buggered the fork myself. but I got on their mailing list and go the battery notice from them.

    Water bottles

I made a bracket and attached it to the front of the frame where the basket attachment is, similar to the one that is made for Rad Rovers (no the rad one doesn't fit) this is the rad rover one, mine is only one sided for now. when I have time I will make it better. but it works.

    Hydraulic brakes

not sure I bought mine back in March, and the link I grabbed from a quick search to answer the OPs question. I got 203mm disks, calipers, and a variety of adaptors that appear to be for 160mm - 203mm for the calipers. I didn't need any of them as I already had 203mm discs on the bike...

    Helmet without straps?

I use Lumos helmet, and there are many others that have the crank type clasp on the back. I always wear a "do-rag" under any helmet, motorcycle, bike, football, whatever. as I don't like sweat in my eyes and having a crew cut or shaved head it happens. as stated the chin strap should be loose...

    Helmet without straps?

if you don't have a strap under your chin, the helmet, hat, whatever will come off on impact. physics, can't get around it.

    Helmet without straps?

what would be the point of no straps? the minute you fall, the helmet comes off your head. even full face helmets have straps.

    QuickrStuff hitch bike rack

while their rack seems cool and I would defiantly consider it. I am weary of any company that takes funds when they have no product to ship. it appears they are using the pre-order funds, in order to fund and pay their manufacturing and business expenses. if they ever have actual...

troubleshooting battery charging w new wall charger in 25-30% of the time required prior

easy to figure out the math. a 10ah battery on a 1a charger from full dead would take 10 hours. 1 amp per hour a 10ah on a 2amp charger would take half that 5 hours, 2 amps per hour. a 10ah on a 4amp charger would take ~25% of the time of the 1 amp charger 4 amps per hour = 2.5 hours to...

    Bikonit Battery Recall

4-piston. Not the calipers. It is the disks, I bought replacement disks and the problem was gone instantly, but I shouldn’t have had too, the company should have stepped up and replaced them once I showed them the issue, they choose instead to tell me it was normal. as for the pads...

    Bikonit Battery Recall

I commute on mine 25 miles each way daily. bit over 1,000 miles on it since I received it in April. my only complaints are the brakes, first set of pads are shot already, and out of the box I had to replace the disks because they were so badly bent I couldn't straighten or align them, I...

    Bikonit Battery Recall

not sure what the relationship is, FTH power doesn't supply this model battery, I inquired as I am interested in getting some spares or even a higher AH version, since there is plenty of space on the bike for a taller battery if you aren't concerned with aesthetics. FTH replied they were only...
