    New Juiced Hyper Fat: HF1100 40 mph, Sept 2018 $3,299 Pre-Order

Now this is bugging me. I KNOW I read somewhere yesterday that the HF 1100 price was listed and the writer had added a blurb at the end indicating the $25 tariff had pushed the price up, but looking now I cannot find that article.

    New Juiced Hyper Fat: HF1100 40 mph, Sept 2018 $3,299 Pre-Order

My theory on Rooster is .... it's actually Tora using a burner account, and he is essentially tired of spending every single day of his life running around that factory over in China, so whenever he feels like he needs to vent (and possibly slow down production so he can get a well deserved...

Bike Maintenance for Newbies (me!): The Drivetrain

Cleaned my chain for the first time today. Didn't have any good brushes to completely scrub the derailleur (gotta acquire some old toothbrushes to do it on the cheap !), but felt better about my chain .. it's now nice and shiny like when I got the bike. *high 5*

    New Juiced Hyper Fat: HF1100 40 mph, Sept 2018 $3,299 Pre-Order

Asher, I still recommend the CCS to anyone that likes my ride, but doesn't want to spend that much. I feel it is pretty much the best commuter ebike for under $1500 out there. Hurricane, you hit the nail on the head with the visual disconnect. Drivers are just not used to a bike being able to...

    New Juiced Hyper Fat: HF1100 40 mph, Sept 2018 $3,299 Pre-Order

Hahaa, Rooster saying he almost bought this last night gave me a good laugh. :p Anyhoo, I just think this is one of those bikes that attracts the wrong kind of rider to ebiking, and will give ebikers a bad name at the end of the day. It surely attracts a lot of attention due to its high speed...

Haibike SDuro FullNine - 2+ months later

@JayVee - Best thing about a chipped bike is it still appears to remain a Class 1 bike, and the chip is easily disabled via 4 button presses if you want to let an inexperienced rider try it out. @bob armani - Accessories are what make it yours. I hope I don't sound like I am pushing any of my...

Haibike SDuro FullNine - 2+ months later

I was sure I could go a year after buying it before I splurged on the chip. I told my riding buddies I could and would wait ... no need to void the warranty for one thing, and no need to ride 20+ on the trails I ride. I knew that my ODO and speedo would be wrong as well, and I guess I talked...

    Hi from Columbia MD

Welcome to the EBR forums, Tom !! Just drove through Columbia in June coming back from a family vaca in Ohiopyle. I love that city, and was hoping to get in a ride on the C&O next month. Love your bike !! I rented a Gary Fisher in '96 to ride the G.A.P. in Ohiopyle and promptly bought a similar...

Haibike SDuro FullNine - 2+ months later

Yes, but more importantly you have me beat on range by a crap-ton with your triple batteries setup. I'd wager if we start a poll to see if highest speed or longest range is preferred, 80% will vote for longest range. Next month's ride on the C&O will quickly make that abundantly clear.

Haibike SDuro FullNine - 2+ months later

After waiting ... and waiting ... aaaaandd WAITING .... for a Rip Current S for months, I had decided it was time to broaden the horizon and maybe consider something a little different than a fatty for my fist ebike, so I posted this thread and got some great advice from Ravi. I purchased the...

    2018 Juggernaut Almost completed

That's what drew me to it as well .. easy access. My only alternative was spending a LOT more for a Thule Pack and Pedal (very few rear racks fit my FS bike) and its accompanying bag - an investment of $170 when the Ibera would cost me only $65. That's quite a difference for essentially the same...

    2018 Juggernaut Almost completed

That Ibera rear rack bag is next on my upgrade list. Have you had a chance to form an opinion on it yet ? Waiting til we get into Fall riding weather before I purchase the bag, as I have no use for it over the summer months. Very nice bike !! Biktrix was always near the top of my list when I...

Bike gets here Friday! What accesories?

A proper saddle for sure ! First thing I replaced on my bike. I also replaced the grips but that is not as necessary as the saddle. Add a toolkit with whatever size tools your ride needs, and a mini air pump and start riding it. The M2S AT 750 was on my short list of bikes 3 months ago, so I'm...

Help...Deciding on which dongle to buy..

I just put mine in 15 minutes ago, and I am not mechanically inclined AT ALL. Ohh, I did notice the rear derailleur was a mucky mess, so I tried to wipe that off. Only difficult part was loosening the 3 large screws holding the motor in - I had to use a breaker bar on my tiny Allen wrench since...

    Haibike Flyon......2019

The article seems to imply that the speed sensor is built into the disk and as such cannot be modded: My Bikespeed RS arrives later this week, which solves my last minor complaint about my SDuro, so it will be interesting to see if it truly cannot be modded to remove the top speed limiter.

    From Our Friends at BH

That Rebel Lynx looks very familiar -> BH Rebel Their website is acting badly tonight. I had several timeouts an hour ago, but it looks like it was just some changes on their end and it is now somewhat functional.

    Advice on 2017 HardNine 6.0

@DanInStPete - I rode it to work today ! First time I ever did that. Will be riding it tomorrow as well. So far, I am not sure I invested in the right seat for me - I have 3 rides on the Serfas RX-921 and at about 15 miles I am feeling like I need a break. I have an old Schwinn seat on my Trek...
