That's pretty cool! That needs to be looked into for ebikes.

    Thumb Throttles and Gear Shifting

Being new to the ebike world and owning a Hydra I have a question. I've been told not to shift gears using the throttle cuz of the strain on the chain and cassette. But, if you give it a little bit of throttle where the motor spins slowly and then shift I don't see an issue. I feel you can in...

@scout592 There should be throttles offered when pressed that gives you the speed you want. Instead of an all or nothing or having to gently feather the throttle between limited ranges (not ideal in bumpy terrain). Though finding the right throttle is hard and something Pushkar would have to...

For those asking for a top speed run on the bike with 4.8 inch wide tires I will prob never do it soon. But, for those who are curious since I can now throttle the bike gently while changing gears here's here's top speed I got under ideal conditions was 46.1 MPH on 61% battery. The bikes rear...

Yup, the sensor in the throttle. I'm sure there are better quality throttles that are smother. But, I didn't want to risk that. The sensored I purchased I have tested it on a escooter before so I know it will perform well.

So I did the hall sensor replacement. Pain in the butt. I thought I was wiring it incorrectly. When I saw no error codes I unplugged the throttle and plugged it back in and it worked. Would have saved my a lot of headaches 😄. Anyways, much improvement. In eco mode I press about 5 to 10...

Are cops in Delaware pushing that hard on ebike laws?

My main issue with the throttle is you can press it 40% and nothing moves. Once you get 50% it moves a little. After that it's giving out 100% speed. I can gently push the throttle but that's annoying. Back in my escooter days people with the same issues were trying different throttles with...

The suspension I have not played with yet. In terms of a negatives... -In 1st gear sometimes I hear a clink noise. I am not sure what that is as of now. -The throttle is pretty much 100% or nothing. The range of the throttle is not good. But, I use to have a Widewheel Pro scooter that have...

So I rode about 9 miles on beginner and intermediate trails. Nothing too crazy but I figure I really use the bike haha. No issues going through rough terrain and small hills. I tried to go on a speed run on eco 1 on flat roads. Got about 25mph no issues.

I rode over some uneven sidewalks, cracks, and off curbs. Not harsh at all. I might upgrade the seat since my butt hurts but then again I haven't ridden a bike in a bit haha 😆

So I picked up my Hydra today from Pushkar at his shop in Massachusetts. Rode a bit around my neighborhood. Decided to give a first impressions. Keep in mind that this is my first ebike. Only options I elected was med frame, matte black color, 2300W, 4.8 fat tires, and unrestricted throttle...

    I have a shipping label!!!

Well Pushkar is a real person 😄. He and another gentleman are working hard on the bikes. They have a new facility where they are working in the bikes.I took a few pictures of the bikes there. I didn't want to stay too long since I had to drive back to NY. About 7 hours total of driving 😄.
