need help on purchasing ebike asap

I consider 3" semi-fat but I see your point in wanting something normal sized. A few questions so we can help you further. How do you plan on charging this ebike? Easy removal might be important. Is it to be parked outside in a sketchy area? Good security might be needed. Do these Amazon ebikes...

    Juiced Closing Up Shop?

My first van was a Toyota VanWagon, the cargo version. I purchased it off a guy who's dad owned a small janitorial company and the dad passed, so his son sold me the van. It had a broom and mop dancing on the side with a logo (J's Janitorial). I LOVED that van so much. The best thing about...

That Sprinter van is the bomb!

    Lighting the tandem?

Simply looking at your tandem I'd think you have a da Vinci Design tandem, because the pedals aren't "locked" in the same cadence position. But I know the mid-drives don't have a freewheel affect, so, how does it work exactly? Very cool set-up! We wanna see the lights in action!

Inner tubes. Our friend AND enemy.

This tube that split along the seam only had around 20 miles on it. Plus the sealant doesn't do anything except seep out and make a milky white mess. I feel that Lectric just found the cheapest vendor for their inner tubes and just has someone add either milk or Slime to each tube and charge way...

Inner tubes. Our friend AND enemy.

The rim has prior rash and a few dents from when the tire came off the rim during a turn last time I got a flat. The stock tires are barely on the rim lip when installed to begin with, get a flat and the tire always rolls off the rim. But I slammed down the rear wheel and knocked all the spokes...

Inner tubes. Our friend AND enemy.

I was gonna do the motorcycle tire conversion but the more I think about it I'm not so sure. I'm half tempted to try a Carless Whisper 20x3.5 tire and a Specialized inner tube next. Still doing a Mr. Tuffy as well. First thing first is to get the rear wheel looked at. I could care less about...

Inner tubes. Our friend AND enemy.

I think you can see the seam mentioned. I was running 30psi and didn't cause a pinch flat. This is a weak seam.

Inner tubes. Our friend AND enemy.

Yes, I'm going to throw some gas on the never ending discussion about flats. But my complaint is slightly different, so hear me out. I got a flat on my Xpedition awhile back, forcing my wife and I to walk home. It appeared that something got me right in the center of the rear tire. Okay, I...

    Juiced Closing Up Shop?

My only point was.... DOST. We all well remember that $h!t show, still selling bikes without any intention on delivering them. Outside of my bad experience with Juiced I still hope that they somehow pull thru. They are no different than Rad, Lectric, Addmotor and the countless others making...

    Juiced Closing Up Shop?

Strange as the website is still up and taking orders and my co-worker still gets emails from them about buying a JetCurrent almost daily. I told him don't mess with Juiced because support, be it online or calling, is nonexistent. Knowing Ravi is nice enough to offer parts support should Juiced...

    Review of my Lectric ONE.

I ordered 2 quick release anti-theft seat clamp conversions (one for the ONE and the other for the Xpedition) from HexLox. I also ordered a HexLox thru-axle for the front wheel of the ONE. I'm pretty sure I got the measurements correct on the thru-axle. Will post pictures and the axle size once...

    Review of my Lectric ONE.

The mirrors are Lectric branded and they seem every bit as durable as my other (way older) set of Lectric bar end mirrors. My original bar end mirrors seem to also have a bit of fish eye effect but not anywhere as bad as the new set. The mirror also sits further into the mirror base on the new...

    Review of my Lectric ONE.

The bag is from Rad Power. The top velcro shuts on 3 sides. I'll post a picture (or I already have a good picture from another post?) of the trunk bag. I leave it in full time as it has no handles to carry it like a man purse, or murse. It's pretty waterproof as well. I like the cadence sensor...

Cadence question.... A "skip" when pedaling on my left foot?

I'm gonna log a few miles on it tomorrow and see what happens. I have 2 friends who want to ride it and I'll see if they get any weird pedal results.

Cadence question.... A "skip" when pedaling on my left foot?

Pedals are brand new. I also checked everything suspecting something was loose. Pedals, check! Crank arms, check! No noticeable play in cranks/bottom bracket area, check! I'm gonna have a few friends ride it and see if they get the same results.

Cadence question.... A "skip" when pedaling on my left foot?

So I have a Lectric ONE and when I get into the highest gear I find myself "skipping" a bit on my left foot at roughly the 10-11 o'clock position. A clunk-like small skip. It feels like a loose crank arm but I don't think its the bike, it seems to be me. I don't have this issue on the Xpedition...

    Review of my Lectric ONE.

Another fun fact, the Lectric branded handlebar extender is ill fitting. It doesn't fit well no matter how you manipulate the spacers. Plus it gets tangled in all the wires. Might mess with it again later but I don't expect satisfactory results.

    Review of my Lectric ONE.

The "new" vendor for the Lectric mirrors SUCK! This is not a camera trick! Horrible fish eye effect. Going in the thrift store bin!

    Review of my Lectric ONE.

I've been riding the Xpedition. I still have a weird sound I need to figure out (sounds like a jar of screws when first taking off) on the ONE. I just can't ride a bike without mirrors. But I'm really looking forward to the maiden voyage!
