    Rohloff e-14 oil leak

I was thinking about that potential noise when I was riding yesterday and the hub actually seemed quieter than before. Weird. Going to have to keep listening.

    Rohloff e-14 oil leak

Well the action taken seems to have solved the problem. No more leakage. Less oil when flushing and refilling.

    Belt replacement?

Wow, scary bad. Guess it's best to not use any type of lube or solvent other than water for a cleaning.

    Rohloff e-14 oil leak

I let it drain overnight so covered that aspect...no leak yet. Ride tomorrow to thrash it some and see.

    Rohloff e-14 oil leak

Well things do happen over time. Since my comment of Dec. 21 I have now put 5319km on my SC2. Yesterday after a wonderful commute to town and back in warm temperatures, the first of a late spring, I found a small puddle of oil under the left side. It seemed to be coming from the QR skewer...

Spare POWERTUBE for Delite 2020: switching that rubber cover?!!!

I had the rails on my top tube battery crack after a few months. Propel offered me a replacement under warranty and so I had to swap the covers. As pointed out above, the removal of the screws and end plate is necessary. I then took a 8 cm piece of soft trim wood, about 25mm wide and about...

    Where to get R&M parts?

Same here. Propel has been really great. My brother has even had great service and support from them in far off Idaho USA!

This bike is going to get me in trouble

So far he has not complained. Had me worried though as he told me he misplaced the box with the battery and the pedal box too! He is veteran with TBI so he does forget a lot.

    Another Kiox 503 Error saga

Thanks William. Hope I don't have to go and remove the OEM sensor but have the spare ready if I do.

This bike is going to get me in trouble

Look for one at another dealer. My brother who lives in Idaho got a Gazalle from Propel and he only had to wait two weeks! (C380+ high step Class 3). Shipped from the NY shop via freight truck. Made the journey fine. Easy assembly. Put on front wheel, put on pedals, put on seat post. He...

Known Issues & Problems with Serial 1 Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Curious as I have not found any information on where and who is building the frames? Also minimal information on the components used. Most popular brands in this price range actually give the specs and brands of the components. Anyone know a source for the answers?

    Rohloff e-14 oil leak

Two years, one oil flush and change, 2700km and no leaks yet on a 2017 Supercharger2. Hope your experience was just a bad assembly or defective parts combined over time. I too love the E-14 dearly.

Any of you ever try the Polar Verity Sense arm type sensor with Bosch systems?

    Another Kiox 503 Error saga

I have Kiox and in desperation even cleaned the contacts on the computer and the mounting bracket. They seemed clean and just fine. Still baffled but happy the error has not returned...at least not yet.

    Another Kiox 503 Error saga

I ended up getting a new pickup sensor under warranty but I am waiting for warranty expiration (2 year mark) in Jan. to pull the side cover on the motor and swap out the sensor. That said I too did some experimentation with the magnet position and ended up sliding it back towards the bolt bulge...

    Gazelle Slows Down e-bike Production

Not much other than polish, labeling and possibly the lower chain guide wheel which is a sealed bearing unit on the XT and the usual ceramic bushing on the Deore. At least this is what I remember.

    2021–2022 Riese & Müller Homage

Gee, I swapped out my stock 170mm for 175mm on my SC2 as that is what my long legs want and have used for over 30 years. I don't pedal through the corners so a long - term habit saves me there.

    5000km Anniversary for SuperCharger 2

Awesome! My SC2 will be two years old next month and I am at 4235km and counting. Winter rain and snow throws a wrench in my commuting but I still love the bike and pushing the weight around with the power turned off on the flats is a great workout. I do need to replace a flaky rear wheel...

    Another Kiox 503 Error saga

Interesting. I was able to find from online sources and the Bosch manual that the magnet needs to be over the line which in your photo is to the left of where your magnet is located and also not perfectly flat but slightly turned so that in the downward passage past the frame mounted sensor the...
