Have you asked your LBS why they did not pick it up before handing it over to you?

I would like to see you keep up with my 1125wh beast going up a 50km steep climb (range on my bike using turbo) :) On the flat, you are correct with regards speed, but regarding distance my bum would fall off before I ran out of battery (165km on tour, 282km on eco).😂

I think I have done mine twice in 12 months - but I only ride around 200km a month.

Much safer than using spray!

@Alanzo if you have the belt drive it could be that which is squeaking, although it is more likely dusty dry conditions that cause the squeak on the belt. Silicon spray every so often (careful not to spray your brake rotor) does the trick. Ignore this comment if you have a chain drive.

That could still just be the Rohloff as a result of receiving a lot more torque with the motor on. Either way, get it checked out and it would be great if you reported back what they find out so others can learn if the same thing happens to them.

My uneducated guess is the significantly extra torque the motor generates transferring to the Rohloff hub.

This is my experience also. Generally gear 8 is fine on eMTB mode for most trail riding, but occasional I dip into gears 2-7, and they are noticeably noisier. In reverse, when freewheeling gears above 8 are noisy, and sub 7 gears run quiet. In time, as they break in, the noise might (?) reduce.

I put 155mm crank arms on my Superdelite and my wife’s Homage. They have improved ground clearance noticeably, although cadence is up slightly - actually good for the mostly off road recreation riding we do, but not so good for a HS model and road riding I suspect.

I have had no noise issues on the 2020 Delite I had for a year, nor on my SD Mountain which I have had for 5 months. I ride mostly off-road single track so it can get rough at times. On the kickstand, my wife's Homage suffered from it, but my Delite didn't - quiet a ghost for the year I had...
