I ride a 2020 R&M Delite with the latest Bosch motor and can ride it with motor off comfortably on flat terrain. Up hills not so much :) But doable.

Just reinstall the battery. That’s what I do if I need to travel in wet/unsettled weather. Although that’s not often since I live in the Southwest :) :)
