How would you route wires into frame? I don't think there is any nice way in? I mean it would be cool if it was a clean solution. It would kinda make Frey Beast pointless if you could [easily] switch Hydra between 850wh and 1700wH.

Yeah this is just an alternative to carrying a 2nd battery in backpack, strap it to frame instead. And yeah half way through ride you just gotta swap the two. You could probalby make some frankenstein setup with some way to automatically switch packs, or run them in parallel or something. But...

Well just rotating it so valve is on top works. It creates enough space for the spare battery to fit. Without spare battery there the shock looks a little weird like that but not a big deal. Need some type of pad to put in between spare battery and frame, and maybe some sleeve or something to...

How did you do this? I got my 48v packs, but the version of X1 Tool I have doesn't have the motor tab to switch from 14S to 13S. So now kinda headache because they want to get a version of X1 Tool from Innotrace that has motor tab with least that one setting to send to customers... but now...

Is there an easy way to check voltage of a pack (one that needs to be turned on)? To use a multimeter I need 4 hands to use multimeter while shorting the on/off switch contacts. I guess I could just rely on bike's reported voltage. :/ Wait how does charger work? Is it if you just supply high...

Oh yeah ignore the color sorta, it just highlights the highest voltage in red and lowest in gray.. doesn't mean its good/bad just to quickly spot the two extremes. But the cell #12 being 0.2v below rest is problem.. it was basically always the outlier. The symtoms were when dispaly was down...

How pack is configured doesn't matter to individual cell. A 10s2p pack or a 2p10s pack can put out exact same mount of power. In fact you don't even need to know how pack is configured.. you can just say a pack with 40 cells is putting out 500 watts... each cell is contributing 500/40=12.5...

FWIW Hydra used to use 52v14ah ~725wH pack, Samsung 35E cells. Now they're switching over to 48v17.5ah ~840wH packs, I think still Samsung 35E. My last two rides on Hydra: (1) 29.21miles, 2901 ft elevation,, 2h21m moving time, 6.81/14.0ah remaning, pack at 51.2v ~3.655v/cell. (2) 31.17miles...

What waterbottle setup is that? I got some strap to add a watter bottle mount and it doesn't really work on Hydra's frame.. its like too wide its meant more for a smaller tube. not a wide flat surface. Anyways just wondering.
