Way to tell if pedal assist is engaging?

In the higher PAS levels you should feel it kick in. It’s very noticeable.

A little Thanksgiving Day stress relief- Hydra Fat Bike Ride

Finally have some ride pics on my Hydra Fatty. This bike is stupid fun 😂 So freaking fast and comfortable with the Milhouse bars and full suspension. Rolls over just about everything. Oh and big shout out to Pushkar and the team for getting me back on the road. During the process of buying a...

    WattWagons Ti CT Fattie

I‘m tempted to get two for my bikes that have the D1X. Love the smaller footprint.

    WattWagons Ti CT Fattie

Buy it, you know you want it. Seriously, I do a lot of regular bike builds and make some decent pocket money doing it.

    Hydra screen question

My original display didn’t come with screws either. Couldn’t have used them anyway because the bars are for a 35mm clamp stem.

    Hydra on its way!

My solution is less is more. Ditched the throttle, don’t use it and one less wire to worry about. Archer D1X wireless shifter eliminates the shifter cable. Two down, one more to go. I use the Bafang 750C display which uses one wire vs the two that the standard display uses. Three wires/cables...

    Vintage Electric 72V Scrambler

My Vintage Electric 72V Scrambler. I swapped out the seat for a Brooks and the tires for street tires. Brakes have also been upgraded to Magura 4 Piston with 220mm rotors. The power is intoxicating. Really gets up and goes. So much fun to ride and the range is excellent. Keeping the assist level...

    Hydra on its way!

On a side note, some serious cable management is needed on this bike. WW really needs to get better with this.

Correct the battery goes inside the frame. I just put some on the battery cover/door as it’s right behind the front tire. Might not be necessary but I’d rather be safe than sorry.

Get some frame protection for it. Especially where the battery goes and the chainstay. Google All Mountain Style.

    Hydra as a commuter?

Like the wide gearing on this cassette from Box. Built specifically for e-bikes. https://www.jensonusa.com/BOX-Two-Prime-9-E-Bike-Cassette

    Hydra as a commuter?

Looks pretty beefy. Might have to give one a try when I need to replace my current cassettes.

    Hydra as a commuter?

With the WW high power bikes you need heavy duty components. Like KMC Ebike chain (I’ve yet to snap one), steel free hub body, and Ebike specific cassettes. I also run 9 and 10 speed cassettes as I’ve found you don’t need more gears with the bikes power and getting a decent chain line is easier.

    Hydra as a commuter?

Call me crazy but I’m not sure if Id put a Kindernay on one of these bikes with as much torque as they make. I prefer the cheaper to replace cassette and derailleur setup.
