Hydra Black - Has anyone received theirs yet?

Your Hydra Black came with better suspension than my Hydra lol. Mine got the "throw whatever we can find on there" treatment.

Pics of places you ride your Hydra

Cool, thanks for the info. I don't really want to go tubeless because of the sealant nightmare plus it's been difficult to find removable core 3 inch tubes.

Pics of places you ride your Hydra

Yeah they actually come with tubes! It has a recommended size on their page for each Tannus armor size. I'm really struggling to find 27.5x3.0 tire options, the most common 27.5" wider tire seems to be 2.6" width. 2.8 is even hard to find. I don't want to commit to Tannus without any good tire...

Pics of places you ride your Hydra

Had my first taste of real downhill single-track on the Hydra today, probably some of the most fun I've ever had when I'm not mounted to a snowboard! Can't wait to explore more of the parks around here with spring coming on. Time to get some padded underwear lol. My derailleur decided to come...

Worth the wait, Hydra is here.

I'm willing to bet the rear tire is worn because of 2300 watts of power lol. My rear is actually pretty worn too, I don't have a ton of miles on the bike yet. I'm thinking of getting a set of Tannus armor which would lock me into a tire size, seems 27.5x2.8 might be easier to find than...

Archon X1 Programming Thread (questions and experiences)

I'm sure they've changed it since my bike was built, but mine came programmed from the factory with every assist level set to 100% torque and speed unlimited, where the only thing that changed was the torque sensitivity (1 for eco 1 through 10 for sport 5). It felt WAY too powerful in Eco 1 and...

Archon X1 Programming Thread (questions and experiences)

Spent a few days tweaking my programming settings. I've been taking my bike on trails through the woods where I wanted a very low power assist for climbing up uneven trails in low gear, plus I wanted it to be quieter as not to anger any non-powered mountain bikers lol. I also wanted to add class...

    Magura EStop brake issue

I thought maybe they would have used a wiring harness without the connectors at all. That would've been worst-case scenario.

    Magura EStop brake issue

Just spoke with Greg at WW, sounds like they've been tucking the extra brake connectors inside the downtube above the upper battery locking cradle, so that's good news!

    Magura EStop brake issue

Perfect, thanks! I saw that Starbike had the levers in stock a week or so ago but it seems they might be awaiting more stock now. Shouldn't have waited 😅

    Magura EStop brake issue

Oh nice, thanks for that! Kind of hard to get a good shot, but I'm assuming they're probably coiled up above the battery lock/cover here. Will have to take that out to see.

    Magura EStop brake issue

The ones that I ordered were NO, so hopefully I won't have to do any switch modifications. The wiring harness I am not sure on so I may reach out to WW to ask if they've hidden the brake connectors in the downtube above the battery lock or if I need to purchase a new harness. That California...

    Magura EStop brake issue

I just ordered some brake levers from Starbike at this link: https://www.starbike.com/en/magura-mt5e-3-finger-aluminium-brake-lever-incl.-ball-shaped-head-black-higo-closer-no-150mm/#76737 but shortly after realized that there's two versions, a normally-open switch (NO) and a normally-closed...

    Magura EStop brake issue

Mine didn't come with the E-stop handles/wires installed, I was looking into sourcing those to install them myself. Does anyone have a lead on those parts?

My Atom Arrived - Not Quite As Expected/Ordered

Glad to hear you're actually getting communication out of them regarding your issues, I've sent them a million emails and only received a couple back (no phone calls). I've pretty much given up on expecting any sort of after sales support at this point. I was hoping I would get a replacement...

    Hydra drivetrain update and parts

Curious as well! Sad to hear about the Magura warranty not panning out, I was hoping I could get the Magura e-handles for the MT5 and integrate them into the motor controller for power cut, but they're hard to find it seems.

Known Issues & Problems with Watt Wagons Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

I just put a bit of dielectric grease on each of the 4 battery contacts, seems to have helped. It's an insulator so it prevents arcing.

    Hydras being distributed by Bolton?

Interesting, I got excited and posted the link before actually watching it lol. Changed the title of my thread.

Worth the wait, Hydra is here.

For all of you with the stock throttle, it's pretty easy to replace the hall effect sensor with a Honeywell SS49e (https://www.newark.com/honeywell/ss49e/hall-effect-sensor-linear-sip/dp/09J1786) and get MASSIVELY improved throttle response, it no longer results in on/off performance, it's...
