I have seen "Multi Mode/ Switchable Class Mode" Ebikes mentioned in discussions of the legality of different classes of ebikes, but I never saw any manufacturers and models mentioned. Could anybody tell me the names of the Makes/Models of such "switchable class" ebikes? Thanks.

The X1 is a great looking bike! If I bought a Tesoro, my preference would be for the X1, but I might opt to stick with the X3 because of the 20 mph speed limit on bike paths around here.

Hi Carsonjones. Spoke to a local Cannondale dealer who checked the specs out closely (online) and he told me the Synapse Neo 1 will take 650b tires.

Hey Carsonjones. I thought the frames were identical too. I also knew that the SE comes with 650Bs. Maybe I'll give Cannondale a call tomorrow and see what they say.

Hi Carsonjones. Somebody just told me that 650b tires will not fit on the Synapse Neo 1. I've heard that they do and now I've heard that they don't. Maybe it depends on model year? Not sure, but you might want to get confirmation about those 650bs for your Synapse before you have them built up.

In re: Synapse Neo 1 Wheels: as Carson Jones kindly pointed out to me, the other option is to get a pair of 650b tires for the Neo 1 and use them when contemplating a "gravel focused" ride.

Porta pots probably aren't real great either in terms of covid transmission.
